i must say this isnt the first time my "sense of humor" or lack there of has gotten me in trouble i believe everyone will recall some of the monumental battles that took place between me and seminole and i believe i had several clashes with shawnyboy on several topics, but all was forgiven with a lil mediation by CAS.... so i mean one should not quit a forum over one conflict or error, cause if everyone did that this forum would not have as many people as it has.... but i mean really its a car forum and you shouldnt take all so seriously

I'm not sure how this whole thing started... but I can tell you all this much; This may be an online forum, and some may not take it as seriously as others do, but I say that there should be a level of respect amongst members. Casey, I've never had any problems with you bro, and we've been on this forum for sometime, but I have to tell you this, you have no right to call anyone names man... whether it be male or female... No right to harass people becuase of their choices or perspectives....

As for Airy, there are threads within this site where she has put people down for their cars (calling them ricey) and have made sarcastic statements towards other members.

Maturity is lacking in both these cases. Statements that are made should be tactful and things that are said in jest shouldnt be taken so serious.

Yep. I believe if you don't want someone to say that particular word to either your sister or Mother, you should not say it to any girl. No one has the right to degrade anyone. Not on what car they drive, how their car looks, by what race you are or by what sex you are.

I guess I hate this kinda crap. If you don't have anything nice to say about somebody, just don't bother talking. This is where flame wars come from, and now we have lost at least one member of our forum, maybe more, because a lot of people see this garbage and bail. Its one thing to bitch and complain....and its another thing to poke fun....the one thing I do love about this board is the ability to joke around and have fun with just about everyone, and its all taken with a grain of salt.

Unfotunately there are members out there that get offeneded rather easily, and to them, I truly feel sorry. If you cant take it.....dont dish it out.

Apologies have been said, and amends have been offered. If its not in you to accept that and move on like a mature individual then this is not the place for those types of individuals.

But dont come on here expecting the waters to part, and sunshine be cast upon your face just because you own a G20. Everybody is definatley welcome and are free to use this forum as a resource, but, we all have to learn the hard way, and this is what the forum is for....LEARNING!!! Sure, friendships are made and the community is stronger, for that I am grateful.

Keep in mind that respect has to be earned and not given out blindly We all have/had to pay our dues here and gain that repect from fellow forum members. This isnt a television soap opera so please dont use it as such.
