I'm looking at getting the ADR gt sport 17" wheels. They look damn good. I went to Les Schwab and got a quote for new tires and the rims. They are selling the rims at $200 a piece. And I would be getting Wanli 215/45 tires at $88. So the total quote was $1250 for the whole package with all the extra parts and labor. What do you guys think about that price? It's obviously expensive to get new wheels, but I was hoping to get the rims cheaper. I think I saw them on wheelmax.com for like $175 a piece. But it probably better to pay extra to have Les Schwab do the work.
And also does any know of a different brand that is cheaper but has the same basic wheel look?

-1200 bucks..... maybe I should put that towards getting a sr20det

go with wheelmax.com i think their wheel/tire package for the adr gt sport is $999.

they are cheaper and give you better tires in their package. if i remember correctly, they give you kuhmo tires in their wheel/tire package.

don't pay your supplier for labor. wheelmax should mount the tires and balance them before they ship them to you. all you would have to do is mount them on your car yourself.

you will be saving close to $300.

yah, $1200 seems a little on the high side. you can probably
wrap better tires at that price.

i bought some 17's ADR sokudo's for my commuter and it
totalled out around $1180 with nitto's. that was a local
purchase but i knew i could get them online for under $1000.

i just wanted to see them on the car first, so i chose to
buy local.
