made the fat mistake, getting the front end repainted...
getting the civic lip, impul grille, and bumper all painted

and i ordered the morette headlights... yay

urgh.. its gonna be ugly wont it?

Yak - did you prefer the color contrasts with the black/white? I think the paint will look good... I've always wanted to see a Civic lip painted anyway... you can never tell what it really looks like in photos when black.

Aren't you gonna have to have the Morettes painted too? Not part of your paint job?

So long as the paint is done right, why would it look ugly bro? It sounds like it's gonna look like it came from the factory this way... :D

the only problem I see is the morret lights, I'm not a fan of those thought. If that's what you're worried about, you can alway switch them back and sell them. It's easy to paint everything black again if your worried, but you would loose a few buck, all that would take is a spraycan.

I would paint the outside of the hood white and leave the middle black matching the impul grill opening. That would be awsome and tie the car together nice, I was planning that if I did a carbon fiber hood.

That'll look good, I agree with eric on the hood paint scheme. I bet those headlights will look sweet. Im ordering the '99 Civic lip today, then head over to Paintscratch. I got a '95 grill and my plan is to paint the outer part body color, the chrome ring and center black. Then, I have cut off the flappy part of my mudflaps and those as well as the black molding around the lower part of the car gets painted body color. If it turns out how I hope next will be the body molding and door handles. Cant wait to see pics when youre done!!

i've been toying with that idea of painting part of the hood actually..
i was gonna get it all put on... and then decide after :)

besides, i run out of money once i get the car back haha

Not that I'm aware of, just wanted to double check. I've seen MANY different grilles for the P10, but i've only seen that one NISMO one.

That IMPUL grill is to die for... =) ... I think the all white look will look sick... I'm a uni-color person, and as long as the job is done right, it'll look perfect... ;)

I'm the same way, that's why I suggested the paint scheme for the carbon fiber hood.

have the fun is doing the stuff your self. I can help you with any tech stuff though. I may have a custom grill soon though. I was gonna do a trade, but it probably won't go threw. I let you know soon.

I've been tempted and playing with the idea of throwing my subs:

But I don't wanna mess around with the Bose system... I just wanna add the Bass... so maybe you could give me a hand with that sometime... I really like how you have your Subs up on a wall in your trunk... I'd like something similar, but not as fancy and show-like as you have yours... (your stuff is "show" worthy ;) )... I just want my subs up on the wall... instead of in the box floating around in my trunk taking space... =)

lol....I wish I could post a pic of all my audiobahn sittin in my girl's closet too. Im jus like U Fray--I could throw it all up in the trunk but I dont want the basic floating box in my trunk either....

Its gotta be custom and clean...
