sorry guys i've had too much trouble with my car. Last week i took it to infiniti and they told me i need 3000 worth of work on my car. the price wasn't even including installation. so i told my dad and he told me to look for another car with a certified warranty from the dealer, so i called inifiniti back to see if they had any new g20's but he hasn't seen one for 6 months. so i'm looking at a 2001 volvo s40 which i'll probably buy in the next week or so.

I remember when the S40 was my "next car" choice... I thought all good things, more power, sweet lux- design, safest car etc... but the downside... They only come AUTO!... did I just say downside? I meant "NO NO"... :)
I don't regret one bit going for the P11... but everyone's different.
I wish you luck with everything bro'...

i think nebraska is a bit far away. and this infiniti dealership doesn't care too much for people of color. so they won't be willing to ship the car without a deposit fee. i don't even think they will ship it if the dealerships are not ran by the same company.
My car needs new upper and lower link thingy's my boots for my power steering is broken and leaking power steering fluid (but i don't see a residue on the ground) my bearings are broken again! i just got them replaced, my valve cover is leaking oil, and some other stuff. need i say more. and my air conditioning has not been working for over a year. i finally spent $700 to get it fixed and it worked for a week and then broke again. found out something else broke (air compressor), i was told if you don't use it often it greatly decrease the life of the part
Today dad and i went to volvo in virginia and we bought a saphire black 2001 S40 auto (i don't like driving sticks unless it is a sports car or a coupe). with some wood finish, automatic climate control, sunroof, leather and the trip computer. their customer service was number one in my book. tomorow he is going to deliver the volvo himself to my front door. from virginia (mind you i live in north carolina), give me all new mats one mat had a little stain on the side, and to top it all off, car dealerships are not open on sundays, i told him that sunday was the only good day for us to come, so he said he will meet us there by ourselves with no interuptions.
he will also service my car so that when the service light comes on all i have to do is get an oil change in intervals of 7500 miles instead of 3k or 5k. i can't wait until i get it. i'll post pics of it tomorow

Thanks but i took out my $2500 system and its going in my volvo.
They wanted 17,900 for it, i talked him down to 15,750
i'm just parting out of the car everything else is coming with me.
i will still be a part of this web forum. volvo has plenty of s40 forums but none of them are as friendly, informative and non-sexist as this one. i was looking at the 02' jetta 1.8t, that car had some get up and go. it was an automatic. i was at a stop light and i stomped on the gas and the front wheels lit up! i was impressed, never have i been in a car that would do that besides this volvo. even though the jetta has about 15 more horsepower than the volvo.

what color is the car? I might need the front passenger fender, but that is still up in the air. on to ther things. what color is your shifter surround, and the panel that goes around your radio & that whole setup. You know, the one that had the vents at the top. Thanks a lot!

ITS GONE! my baby is gone. but to tell you the truth i don't miss it one bit. it has given me so much trouble that when he delivered the car today i didn't drive my g20 all day until he came to pick it up. i love my new car! it is so classy and sporty and pretty quick.

yeah there are alot of kits and bolt on products. you can also chip the ecu to get about 35-40 extra horsepower. cars with turbos react very well to revamped ecu's. here are some pictures of some s40's with exterior mods. You can get about 300 hp out of the engine with modifications. it'll cost about $3,000.
