Well. Not to be a stupid newbie or nothing what I mean to say...Without acting ghetto cool is, Where do you guys find the Body kits and the cold air intakes and all the other things such as spoilers that dont look like rice burners. All I want t oknow is, Where you guys find it, I read all the forums I could in search of answers but still my dumb ass couldnt find what I was looking for. And even the body kit I found was sort of crude, not to offend anyone who may have it, But I have seen some with bad ass kits and I am extremely jealous of them. And do you guys know how hard it is to find aftermarket performance products locally? For me its been like a Needle in a hay stack search. They look at you, scratch their head and say " well....I dont know.....Umm......Youll have to look into that and just look for stuff piece by piece," even when I told them things I wanted that I know they make from looking through this site and researching my freaking head off. I came in search of answers from a group who I feel would be my bewst bet.

I know I have read references to sights over and over on this forum...
...and you can also check the AF site (www.automotiveforums.com) for more G20 history/searching.
Wings west has been mentioned several times here for aftermarket wings
...as well as other's
...and one of the members (Tizao) is someone to get kits for you from Japan..
..again, all this stuff HAS been mentioned in the forums here! You probably didn't search well enough or read enough.... but it is here!!!!!

tell us what you want and we can help you find it. We drive a rare car that doesnt have as many aftermarket parts as the sh!tvic or other honduuh's. They are hard o find aftermarkets for our car but parts are out there. Next time just try and be a lil' more specific and you will get a faster response.

Thanks man. I know you have to scower these forums to look for info. And I have spent countless hours doing so. What I am looking for parts relating to my G20 '93: Body Kit, a spoiler, an exhaust system that doesnt sound like crap(like I just cut of the pipe or something)(I know some people like that and for somwe Time I did too. But I want something that has good tone and actually does something performance wise or I would just go out and weld a tip on the end of the stockie exhaust) I want to know If it is worth my time and money to put a cold air intake, a cone style intake or just to do the easy thing and buy a K&N drop in for it. I would like to know who makes the best springs a good drop without a crapy ride quality. The life long question of what looks better 17's or 18's rims, and any other mods you guys would suggest for a guy like me. . I am also looking to not make it look or sound like a rice burners. Its not a civy so I dont want it to look like a cheap civy. I havent done jack to my car yet and it eats CRX's Civy's and most other matchbox racers for a snack. 3 car lengths was my last race. Felt bad and let off on the gas pedal. What makes it hard to know what to look for is it is rare to see one of these cars let alone a modified one. I intend to be the first and to watch all the Honda guys with their mitsu buddies as they see the first modified G20. As I feel any other person who modifies theirs feels deep down. Even though Im a newbie to the G20 scene, I have been on top of mods and custom jobs for the last 4 years of my life, yes I used to be the owner of a '91 Hona Prelude, Yes, shake your heads and say "poor guy" all together. hahahahaha! A born-again G20'er hahaha:knockout:

Hey, Im curious to see pics of your ride. Hey maybe you could be my inspiration for now.
And as far as everything else you guys wrote. Thanks for writing in here. Its good to know peole give the time to give a crap about helping someone else. Ill try to post pics of my car as I go along with my mods.

I think you'll find the general consensus is that for performance, go for the HotShot Header and Greddy cat-back system...
There has been a lot of discussion about the CAI being a good thing (just check the forums history)... I don't have it myself so don't ask me on advise on what brand...
My G20 is mostly stock so my knowledge is from reading this and the AF forums!

G20.net is nowhere near being complete. There were a few glitches that caused the site to change a bit. I still think that B-boogie will redo the web site. When it is completed it will have a members ride section. So you can see what fellow G20's are looking like. It would be easier to find the parts that you are looking for if you searched one by one. I'll try to name a few off the top of my head.
-Underdrive lightweight pulleys(unothodox?)
-Headers(Stillen, hotshot, Pacesetter)
-Cold Air Intake(Hotshot, Place racing)
-Warm Air Intake(Stillen, Jim Wolf)
-Body Kits(Impul, Black Widow, Aerotech)
I know I have forgot alot but these are for the p10 off the top of my head.

Not to be mean, or to make myself look good, (because trust me it wont work :) ) but just from my experience in reading this forum, you will not be the first modified G20. By the way, to make our car very fast, it will take a real lot of $$$. If you have the cash to blow, DO IT!!!! I sure wish I could. Try STILLEN.com also. Sorry you can't be the first modified G20, but hey, represent us well!

Wait a sec... I believe you.... trust me I know Im not the first all out... But if you lived where I live not only would I be the first to have a modified G20, but I am probably one of three in my whole area. Im currewntly not living In a big city anymore, so therefor I get to see all the small city racer boys trying to look bad in there little Honda'a and Mitsu's. So to have a mod G20 is a whgole big thing for me. Trust me if it was in San Francisco where I used to live it would be a pin prick in the mass of mod cars. But that is no longer, so now I get to show off to the small town boys. Get my point now. I believe you when you say I wont be the first, Id be stupid and ignorant at the same time if that's what I thought. But thanks for still being nice about it. And hey, If I was a complete moran, I wouldnt be sitting on the floor right now crying from my ignorance, thank you. Oh and I did some searching and I saw youre car chris. Where did you get the brace? And Black widow does make a kit for the P10? Hotshot is the best headers for these then? They arent those cheap headers that blow out all the time because their made for people who like the look of headers but dont intend to use them for performance? Thanks for all the info.

:bandit: I'm new to this whole Nissan/Infiniti thing too... Yes, I was all about Hondas (Don't hate me please) and I owned a 92' Civic. I knew her in and out, as they are not as complicated as other cars could be. I was three steps away from completing my dream: The body Kit, The swap, The wheels, til' Mother's Day came and I wrecked it! Currently I'm taking over my girlfirend's 92' G20 and I started to learn more about it. Now I'm hooked. I must agree that the parts are not easy to find. But I say go with the HotShot CAI and Header. For a kit, try Ninjacar (http://www.ninjacar.com)
I like their front end. The Nismo's a bit classy, really nice. You can get the factory spoiler easily too. It looks pretty nice. Try Wings West, Stillen.
Like it was mentioned before, they are out there, be patient.
And it is good to know that people on this site really care ;)
May 23, 02, 01:50 PM
I just about messed up my pants man. Thanks. I like the classy look of the NISMO. But for some reason I like the Ninja one a bit more. I wonder if its a complete kit or just the front end. But thanks a ton. And I know what you mean by being a past Honder. I too used to part of the honda scene. Except I was the owner of a 91 Prelude Si, Nice car and all, just became to mainstream, and I think the G20 would whip it personally. The engine on these things scream out load with a feircness for a 4. The DOHC 2.0 I4 is a smooth motor, and lacks that annoying valve slap the hondas have at high revs. And for kicks look through this site. There is something called rice-boy.com, it is some funny freaking crap. I thought it was funny to look at all the outlandish rice burner stuff. It is REALLY a kick! It is worth the time to go and look at it.
Us G20 guys need to stick together. We are overrun by Hondas toyotas and mitsus. And personally, I think if we fixed are cars up half as much as most of them, we would run circles around them. So keep me informed on what you guys got going on youre rides and Ill do the same. Thanks for all the support from you guys. I guess this weekend Ill be on my way to order myself some Hotshot header and a dark freakin tint job. Ill just have to wait till this summer to get then rims on there. Takes a while to save. Rims arent cheap when youtre doing it right and buying the good rims and tires. Wish me luck! :knockout:
May 24, 02, 08:11 AM
First off. The guys at Ninjacar.com are coming with side skirts for that front-end in about a month and a complete kit in about two months. They already have back orders on the skirts!! The front bumper is made of fiberglass and comes with the grill for about $350, the Nismo has to be oreded from Japan and it's about $ 2500 (steep if you ask me) :-\ But they're known to fit like gloves on the rides! Good luck with the HotShot, make sure you let us know how you like it! and for the wheels, I strongly suggest you visit Tires and wheels (http://www.tirerack.com) They'll show you how the wheels look on your ride and what tires will fit it!! Also try Discounts (http://www.discounttires.com)

Thanks man. I owe ya. Its cool to get help. Ill keep you informed on my car as I go.
Jun 16, 02, 03:20 AM
one thing that would help you not seem like a "newbie" is by knowing its spelled infiniti, not infinity (speakers). not trying to be mean but just helping another g20 owner out.
Jun 25, 02, 12:47 PM
I know I know I know...... It was the slip of the key thats all.. I hate that misspelling in here as much as the veteran G20 guy. The tech way of spelling it the correct way would be; Infiniti G20 P10. Sorry for the typo. Shit now I look like a dumb ass newbie, info repeating, repeating questions over and over that are already in multiple threads. Sorry to the vets, just a typo. Sorry!
Crap Im a loser now:sleep: shame
