I am having problems with my windshield wipers. The linkage that connects the arm that goes from the wiper motor to the first wiper has popped off. I tried putting it back on, but could not get it to stay. I am not familiar with this type of joint, but I can't see any breakage on either piece. Does anyone know if this is just a press fit type link or is there more to it?

If I wanted to replace a part, would I replace the whole assembly not including the motor?

not a big deal.. this is a very common problem with our G20s... I replaced mine even though mine wasn't broken because I don't want a problem on my 10K Alaska road trip... I think it cost me right around $10 for that part!

Did you just have to replace the arm from the motor to the first wiper, the joint, or the whole assembly? I looked at it for a while and I couldn't tell how to get the joint back together. There wasn't anything that looked broken either. I was thinking about just replacing the whole thing excpet the motor.
