On the way to work my GAB lower control arm brace broke off around a sharp corner. I was dragging it on the ground. Both of the bolts were still on the control arms. The streets of New Orleans are in horrible shape, so this thing really took a beating. It hangs low and being lowered 1 1/2" doesn't help. I duct taped it up and made it to work.

That sucks. Will the tape hold until you can get a replacement or is the G out of commission for a while?

why not just unbolt it and run without one? It should be just the same as running w/ vs w/o a STB.

BTW. How and where did it break? Did the bar itself break, or did one of the ends break off?

Yeah I'm taking it off and running without it. I just had to tape it up to make to and from work. It broke at one of the ends. Both of the control arm bolts were fine, so the control arms didn't go anywhere.
