there is a 2door newest style vw jetta around somewhere which i saw in a mag which was cool. they they like shortened the car. and it was one hell of a project.

this guy probly saw that and thought it was cool hahahahaha.

You know this goes up there with an Integra I saw the other day...shaved taillights! Nothing in the back! People go way too far trying to be unique that they forget about making something asthetically pleasing.... :p

Maybe if he made the front doors a lot longer, and made the rear windows into a lot smaller pieces, but that would require him to put really crazy work into the car, while he seems to mostly just want something different and did it ghetto style.

It was built by DC motorsports or something. It was featured in SCC mag. it looked awesome. the rear quarter glass was the most expensive part of the project., probably why that ugly g20 is just welded up.

The owner could've at least gave it two small suicide doors for the back.

if you weld the trunk shut(airtight), remove the wall between the cabin and inside(yes, it would be weaker) and build a wall right behind the drivers seat ... that thing could take six 12's easy ... and the bass would be incredible (when tuned)

Can this car even be registerd for legal road use now with no back window? Good Ideal but he should have taken side windows from a 2dr sentra or something and put them in. Personally I think G20's where meant to be 4 door, the body lines just dont say "2 door"

I dunno, done correctly it could have looked pretty good... He may have been able to modify a Bmw 3 series coupe's doors and rear windows to make it a nice 2 door... but the dumb part about making a 4 door a 2 door is no matter how clean you make the outside, the seats still don't act like coupe seats (where they flip forward for easy access to the back)...But I've pictured the p11 as a coupe and it'd look pretty nice if you extended the front doors and made the rear window smaller like a 3 series coupe...

I was gonna ask if that guy was on G20.net, but even if he was he probably wouldn't reveal himself now.

I think we should all chip in and buy this car so we can take it out to the woods, and give it a decent burial.

It has suffered enough.

As for interior body work, the rear deck has been cut out to make for the most room possible and there is a custom made square stock roll cage going from the trunk to the back of the front seat. The whole interiorWith all this work to the car it would make for an incredible SPL car that would be extremely air tight and braced.

I just about fell over reading that one... o.k. so he's trying to say it's all set up to be lightweight for racing..

That Jetta though in SCC was quite amazing..... And yeah, he said the glass was the most expensive part, and I can imagine it would be.... custom molding your own glass.... that would be insanely pricey..... but he used Golf doors, which were larger... and that car come out amazing... looks just like a factory style Jetta Coupe..... makes me wish they would have actually made one....

SPL = Sound Pressure Loudness..... to sum it up in a nutshell, it measures your stereo is dB's.

SQ = Sound Quality.... ranked by judges, not a mic.

So if the g20 family has a black sheep this is definately it (Although the multi-colored yellow/blue/red interior G from a while back comes close). Anyway I conquer (word of the day calender) with everyone, this is an atrocity and IMO is a clear cut case of "Oh man I really F'd my car up. Now to pawn it off on a sucker".

This looked someone with horrible Photshop skills having an even more horrible day... but if the descriptions are true... I feel sorry to see the car being sold in such a portrait... wasted potential indeed... :-\
