What do you guyz think about adding a racing chip to G20. Are they a good idea, what type of hp/torque increase should i expect, is there a downside, will it void the warrenty?

I hate to do this but check out the G20 FAQ section at Automotiveforums.com. There's a section there on ECU's for the G20. That should answer all your questions. Void the warrenty. Probably void the engine warrenty if they catch ya.
