Maybe it's just me but ever since I've been on this site, it's been a P11 in the banner. Not that theres anything wrong with that but how about equal treatment for P10 owners. We might not be as flashy, but we still look good darnit. So how about it mods....A black P10 (heck whatever color) in the banner for a while???? Please???

goto "user cp"-"edit options" and goto the bottom and you'll see where is says something about "new style-p11". you can change it to a p10. :)

Actually, if it wasn't a LOT of trouble, I'd like to see the color change monthly.....(I own a Silver P10, btw)....just to liven up the banner a bit. Plus change the G20.net and the top bar to match?

I agree completely. Heck it doesn't even have to be black. If it's not to much hassle, it would be an awesome touch to this already awesome site. Just a thought.

Sorry I was looking at the avatar instead of the pic you had at the bottom. Very smooth looking G! So how muc trouble would it be to have a different color every month?

Well first there would be the problem of creating all (12?) images. Maybe more if other people complain cuz their color isnt in there. Second it would need to be programmed in there. I can mention it to the other mods, but I dont know how reasonable that request is.

Why does it matter? Personally I think it's just a banner and it looks great just the way it is. No need to change it all the time. Just my 2 cents

Hey what can I say, I'm a graphic Design comms major and I like variety. It's not my call. Just a suggestion. I would not mind it changing. Once a month does not mean "all the time". That's once in 4 weeks. Oh well, it's not my call, just thought I'd post an opinion. And I'm not asking for the whole banner to change, just the color of the car. I understand who ever does it might have more pressing priorities, but hey if no one wanted change, we'd all be driving stock G's right?:) Forget I ever asked.

Relax man I didn't mean to come out rude or anything. I was just saying that it looks good as it is. But if the mods don't mind changing it every month, then it's cool. It doesn't really matter to me if it stays or changes, it will still look great :lol:

Obviously its not a huge thing to change the color of a car. Especially since thats a vector image. Problem is the programming. I know nothing about PHP, if this site was in VB.NET i could do it myself.

By VB I'm assuming you mean visual basic? Anyways yeah, the image would be cake to alter, but I know almost squat about web design (took one dreamwearver class which does the HTML for you). I was thinking maybe who ever runs this puppy sends you the template. You alter it to have like the basic colors. And send them back to him and he can incorporate them in a rotation once a month. Is that possible? Or heck just copy and paste it from the website and save it for web maybe?

LOL I completely forgot about that setting. i was thinking "that looks an awful lot like a p10- maybe it's a p11 with some body kit to make it look like a p10?"

No really, its good enough for now, personally I like how clean the site looks. I also need to get my hands on a template editor in order to change some things...that I dont have right now...

Even if you dont change it monthly you should clear out the sidemarker on the P10 banner. That orange is uuugly. But if you do change the color, I vote red P10.
