G20.net: How, when & why did you first acquire your Nissan Primera GT?
P11 GT: Well, it was back in Nov of 2000, I was in the market for another car. As i already owned a Nissan and was happy with them, i naturally went back to the same manufacturers. Upon a visit to my local dealers, while looking at a small MPV, i happend upon this silver Primera GT in the Used Car section. The GT was always a favourite of mine, it had the looks, the performance, and more importantly, the space for my growing family. The car had 2 previous owner, one of which only owned her for 2 weeks! as he decided he didnt want to pay the insurance premium that came with the badge. It had 24K miles on the clock, FSH, and an applealing price tag. So after little thought, i signed on the dotted line.
G20.net: What were your original plans for the car and have they changed since?
rightP11 GT: There was no plan originally, i always said that i would leave her stock except maybe for a sound system, as like with my previous cars, ive always ended up spending money on them modifying them up. Once i got used to driving my first 2.0 ltr engine, i began to crave a bit more power. As the handling was superb, i felt that the car could go quicker. So after some research, i began looking into how i could make her faster NA using the normal filter, exhaust, mild engine mods route. It wasnt until i stumble accross you guys on AF (back in the days) that i dreamt of going turbo.
Once i seen it could be done, that was it, my mind was made up.
Cosmetically, i wanted it to look different, to stand out, so i opted for some aftermarket alloys, then discovered the Stillen front, and the final touch was the Impreza 22B rear spoiler. Next thing i knew, i was online, researching about the R34 when i dawned on me that maybe, just maybe i could do a front bumper swap on my car. This is when things just got waaaaaaaay outta hand. The more i looked into it, the more i like the idea, and the more cash i splashed out on buying the parts required to do it. I wanted a more aggressive look for the car, as i wanted to push the power of the engine further. I wanted to create something that would get noticed, to do something that no one had done before, and be remember for a long time to come.
rightG20.net: What performance modifications have you made to your car?

G20.net: Do you have any dyno numbers?
P11 GT: On the previous turbo setup i had using s T25/T3 turbo, i ran 230 BHP (flywheel) with 220 FtLbs of Torque. To date i have not tested it yet with the T3T04E but i expect 260 BHP at a guess.
G20.net: What suspension modifications have you made to the car?
P11 GT: Im currently running a set of B&G Coilovers which are more than adequate. The ride is firm but good, and the handling is much improved.

P11 GT: I found G20.net thru AF, a previous forum in which i made a lot of friends on, and who continued onto here. I think i have always been on here, it was just a transition from one place to another........ ah yes, now i remember how G20 started....... say no more LOL

Id like to say Thanks to everyone on here, because in one way or another, everyone has helped contribute towards The Skymera, whether be it words of encouragement, praise or infomation, i simple couldnt or wouldnt have done all this without all of yous. So in a way, this is your car just as much as mine....... in a way...... so to speak.......
