Well i purchased a cosmo racing short shifter off of ebay for $20 about 8 months ago and never got around to installing it. The install went very well and was very straight forward. I am absolutely in love with the short shifter. It's very precise and makes driving my g even more fun. The next mod is suspension and wheels. I think im going to go with the tein/kyb setup and some 17 inch Antracite Enkei RS7 wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force TA KDW tires in a 215/40/17. But anyways i am thrilled with the quality of the shifter that i only paid 20 bucks for.

Uhmmm I don't think the actualy shifter is any shorter. What a new shifter does(actually called a "short throw shifter") is change the axis of the shifter to a lower point, thus making the shifter throws much shorter. Is the cosmo adjustable?? In order to make the actualy lever shofter, you would have to take a hack saw to the top of the rod and trim it off...
At least that's how it is with my Pace Setter.

Yeah i will get pics up within the next few days of it in my car. Like said before the actuall shifter isnt shorter just the throw and man what a difference. One of my friends drove it and we agreed its from 40% - 50% shorter and i absolutely love it......I also sewed up a new shift boot so i will get the pictures up of that as well.

and no the cosmo is not adjustable although when installing it we found out that the tighter the screw going through the bottom of the shifter is, the tighter the throws are.
