i plan on getting KYB AGX for my G. i was told that if you set it to a stiff setting like 7 or 8 in back or 3-4 in front, that if you hit a pothole hard that you will blow the shock. how easy is it to blow one of these shocks. i would like to have my suspension really stiff becuase i dont mind the ride too much so what should i set it to?

On my car right now i have them set at 2/3. On my old auto G20 i had them set at 1/2 for a smooth ride. Others have them higher, but it just depends. With stiff springs (340/250) the ride is plenty stiff enough as is, if you jack the agx's up too high it just gets really jittery and bouncy, same with if they are too low. I'd probalby start at something like 2/3 or 2/4 and then go from there.
