Does Anyone Know What This Switch Does?

There's a little switch on the left inside of the driver's footwell...what the hell does it do? It's a little toggle switch (up/down) right next to my left leg when I drive and it doesn't seem to do anything. I mean...wtf is that. If this info helps: I just bought my used car (1992 HP10 G20 with 1995 engine).

Could be a alarm valet switch.

I have no pic...it's just this little silver/chrome switch that flips up and down. There's another button next to it..for resetting it, I guess. That's about it.

i agree will you it must be a switch to do with and alarm of some sort, ask the previous owner . If you can get ahold of him..
my sisters got the same switch and i always woundered what it did. ??? and they put it in when she got her alarm.
