After chasing down all the bugs its finally running as it should and making full boost! I'm really happy about the power it's making and my automatic with Level10 clutches & bands seem to be holding well. I want to thank George Roffe, Mitch Hardman, Jason Young, Louis Anaya, and Mike Kojima for answering my questions and technical advices.

Sweet. Nice clean install.

Get the heat shields on if you have them. I can help you with ways to clean them.

Did you hear the latest news??? :o They say the JDM SR20DE is waayyy more powerful than the DET!!! So, I just bought a JDM and haven't installed it yet... if you want... you know...we could exchange motors.... you know... and stuff.... I'll even paint my JDM blue for you too if you want... free of charges... so what do you think?... I'll pick it up and leave mine with you too... so.. ... deal?.... :nervous:

He he he ..! ;)

Sweet deal you got there man. Makes me real freakn jealous, just to make you feel even better about what yave thhou there. By ant chance though, did you help with the instilation there. I used to do engine swaps in the hondas and i was wondering how i translated across into these good ol infinitis. Id do it to, my only barrier is that I live in the peoples republic of California. You know what the love to do to you come smog time. Theyll rape ya big time.
But hey Im happy for ya. Right on there man. Take it to the road and unleash all hell!!

Hey, maybe you can write something up as far as the install process and your problems. I plan to do my swap sometime next summer but it would be nice to have as much material togo on as possible.
I know there is a lot of information already out there but It's allways good to get another perspective on the job.

Thanks

tdog551: Yeah, I'll post vids if do go to the track.

Geo: Thanks, I have the heat shields and I just go them coated with high temp powder coating.

Ty423: Where to start, make sure you torque all the turbo oil lines when the motor is out, it's hard to reach once installed. The passenger side motor mount bracket is different on my SR20DET then oem SR20DE, that was fun figering out why the bolts don't line up. Other than that, it was pretty much straight forward.

Steffen: I hope it works for a long time too.

Fraychild: Sounds like a really good deal, I'll have to think about it some more ;)

Casual & P11GT: Thanks.

Gtwenty: If you have any specific install questions let me know.

Poppy Morenito: The PTS KIT costs $729 and I had my friend installed it.

Where did you get that intake? I am doing the swap right now and I need to find an intake for my car. Also, did you shave the front bracket that holds to the dogbone motor mount to fit it under your turbo? Thank you for your help!

I got my intake and IC kit from Hotshot Performance. If you talking about cross member under the engine, I didn't shave it but shaved the engine brace themselves. I have an auto, so I don't have the front "dog-bone" motor mount you describe. I hope this help some.

It's a stock SR20DET right now. So has the T25 turbo(6.5psi) and 370cc injectors.

I did the usual upgrades, JWT ECU, pop, pully, and replaced rod bearings. Everything else is stock.
