I'm looking for a shop that can repair a seal and recharge my shock for my B&G coilovers.

I called B&G suspension today and they said to use penski parts when repairing the seal on my shocks. Does anyone know of a shop in socal that can repair shocks and are familiar with penske parts??

You need to find a circle track speciallist. Penske repair parts are available from sources such as Coleman Racing, a company that speciallizes in supplying parts to circle-trackers.

and im not looking for a do-it-yourself kit, i heard that penske shocks are made easy so you can do that. i just want a shop to do it for me.

By "Circle Track Speciallist," I mean a shop that speciallizes in catering to the needs of circle track racers (dirt tracks and short tarmac like Irwindale). When you do find a shop that'll rebuild the shocks, you'll still probably have to take the assemblies off of the car, and they may insist that you remove the springs before service, too. You may try asking on a local Autocrossing mailing list or in a regional section of an autocrossing or circle track web forum.

I don't know a phone number, but Coleman's web site is www.colemanracing.com, just keep in mind that they're only a parts distributor, and probably won't be of any help about finding a repair shop.

Chris,did you get this sorted mate as one of my B&G's is leaking?

never could find anybody to help me repair them. but i sold them to mep as was. and he seems to have not had a problem with them. maybe i shouldnt have sold them lol

But if they are leaking then they will fail the MOT (annual inspection) in the UK...

That is very true Mark,but I just managed to get it through the MOT mate LOL.Wont get away with it next year though.
