: Ball Joint & Tie End Rod
nelam Mar 07, 06, 04:53 PM Hello,
I am wondering where I can get the best aftermarket replacement ball joint and tie end rod for my P10.
I've heard, the NAPA brand is pretty good in term of chassis components.
Any input?
Thanks,
Nelson
Crazy4myP10 Mar 07, 06, 07:13 PM Moog parts are beefy. Get em. I've had good luck with them over trg or other aftermarket parts.

this is true.....got my set but haven't put them on.....when i installed my superpro bushings i used the napa ball joints and they are already torn.....didn't even last 2 days.....i don't know if its cause i slammed my car or they just suck....but the moog is good......all the s13's here are running them and even if the car is slammed all the way the joints still look like they are ready for more.......
moog x4

CowboyDren Mar 09, 06, 05:02 PM I think Justin has tie rod ends cheaper. But Nissan doesn't make just ball joints, so you still have to go aftermarket for those.
G20Pimp Mar 10, 06, 05:43 PM anyone know where to get these moog parts? I haven't found a place to get all the parts I need for the suspension rebuild.

NismoPC Mar 10, 06, 09:08 PM I purchased O.E. Brand lower control arms w/ball joints and outer tie rod ends off of eBay. They were extremely beefy compared to the stock units and worked great.
Hope link works:

Advance Autoparts (Parts America, Kragen) sells most of the stuff you need in Beck/Arnley, Moog, or TRW.
nelam Aug 11, 06, 04:55 PM I installed the MOOG outer tie rod ends, and ball joints on my NX2000. I have been driving the car on the road, and once on the track for about 3 months now. I don't have any problems with it. The advantage of the MOOG ball joint comes with grease nipples - use a grease gun to squeeze some grease into it at every tune up should provide fresh and sufficient grease to prolong the life expectancy of the joints.
