What are all the mods available for tuning an NA SR20DE without cutting metal...
So far I know of
CAI
Headers
Cams
Lightened flywheel, pulleys
Exhaust
Advanced timing
and the standards like plugs wires n stuff
I am trying to plan my mods one at a time
So far I think I am going to start with the Cams, then headers.
I already have the air filter.

Actually, cas, that is a complete list. There are virtually no other practical improvements to the engine itself without grinding things. A big throttle body is also available, but I forgot from whom. The big TB isn't a horsepower mod, either; it's a drivability mod. The only other mod that's ever shown itself to be an improvement is an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, but you MUST use a dyno and a wideband O2 sensor to tune it.
As for planning your mods, you don't have to. It's been done before. In successive order of importance:
Intake (POP or CAI, pref CAI), K&N Filtercharger doesn't count. Header Cams Cat-back JWT ECU
You can fit the rest in where you see fit, but you shouldn't get cams until you have a header, and you don't need a cat-back until you have cams. The stock exhaust is adequate for everything up to the cam installation, at which point it's only about a 3-5HP restriction at most.
Oh, and don't screw around with your ignition. Keep it stock, because aftermarket ignition parts are actually nothing more than a money pit on naturally-aspirated cars.

dont u need to cut metal to install teh CAI? so that wont work if ya dont wanan do any cutting. you can buy the CAI and make it a WAI or just buy the JWT POP

I wouldn't say it's a waist on NA cars just a waist on Our NA cars since Our ignition is good to begin with until you get up in the HP.
I had HUGE gains on my 3.8 Thunderbird with an igntion.

How would an adjustable FPR help? IIRC, they tested it a while back (now posted on SE-R.nety) and didn't gain really any substaintial (maybe 1 hp) power. Has something changed that I'm not aware of?

Context, ma' boy. Last time I checked, I was not reading "3.8lThunderbird.net" ;) No, I don't have a G20, but I have an SR20DE, and I have a little bit of knowledge to share with G owners as well as Sentra owners. ;)

Well, if you actually read the magazine article you just referenced (it's on SE-R.net), you'd see that it was over four horsepower. The arguement was that the magazine didn't test it well enough. Also on SE-R.net, though, is a series of comments by Shell Black, who also experienced 3-4hp gains with an AFPR before going turbo. Other SR20 owners are siting similar experiences, but don't always have dyno numbers to back up their comments.
I, for one, would like to see for myself, and am not ruling it out as an option.
