i'm a bit confused on the instruction on se-r.net regarding the tps voltage adjustment. w/ the ignition on but engine off, do i check the voltage b/t the terminals w/ the tps connector still attached? the instruction said shove couple paperclips into the openings, wha openings? where the wires goes into the connector?

also, i can't locate the idle screw...i compared it w/ the FSM and haynes manual but still can't find it...can somebody tell me where it is?

It's on the opposite side of the intake plenum above the oil filter bracket near the PCV. Not the side where the throttle body bolts up to it.

well checked it today...it originally read 0.51...and 3.81 or so at full throttle. i messed with it to 0.45-0.46...but can't get much higher at full throttle. i read its suppose to be near 4.00. is this a problem i should be concern with? or is 3.8 close enough to 4.0

Not Necessarily, cause the engine won´t be running.

According to Nissan it has to be between .45v and .55v.
Mine is set at .58v. and 4v at WOT.

Sorry for bringing up an old post, but I have to subscribe to this. Ever since I tried to adjust my timing, my car has run really poorly. I am finally fed up with it and will be posting a new thread with questions. Sorry again.
