Guys,
Last week my SES came on for no aparent reason! I reset the ECU and it came right back on once I crank the car. I went to AUtozone and had them read the code--a code of 0138(O2 sensor) was read....When I got home that night, I took the battery off and in the morning put it back on and the SES light went off and has been off since(100miles now)...Is it safe now to do an emission inspection?....Is there a likely hood that the light will come back on?

yes, if your O2 triggered the CEL, it will come back sooner or later.

assuming your emissions station will only plug you in, as long as your light is still off you should be fine.
