So whats the deal with rotors and rust?? Can you get a set that will look good in the long run for street applications?? Slotted, Drilled, bla bla... If your not on the track it seems over-kill. I'd just like a set that will compliment my rims and painted calipers with some quality to them... Anyone?? =)

You'll need to find cadmium or zinc plated rotors from somewhere. I think EBC might make some.

KVR makes rotors also, but you have to pay a bit more for the cadmium plating.

Id go with caliper paint.. and maybe try some of that same paint on the parts of the rotor that are exposed but doesn't make any contact with the brake pads????

If I balk at the $350 for a set of new cadmuim plated (bout the same for powerslot, kvr, ebc) or $400 for brembo. I'll go that route Chris...
Anyone have opinions on these brands?? Are they all just blowing smoke claiming they are "better" than their competitors??
Are we talking what... two seconds before the cadmium wears off where the pads contact?? :cheeky:

you know.. I would really think that just caliper paint would do a world of difference!!!
...even Porsche 911s have factory painted calipers and you can see some rust on the rotors but not much....
