Well it started about a week ago, my girl friend ran into the back of a truck when the guy slammed on his brakes on the turnpike... Not a whole lot of damage, i bought a new hood, radiator, a/c condisor and grille. thats all that broke.

I went to start it today after getting all the new stuff on and the batter is dead cuz i left the trunk open all week. I put some jumpers on it, and ass soon as the key hits the "ON" possition the dam car alarm goes off... Everything is shut, doors, trunk hood... Iv tried everything, locking it from the outside unlocking getting in it, un hooking the batter trying again...

This is the stock alarm system is ther away to reset it or somthing WTF IS THE PROBLEM!!!

take out the resistors for it, there under the hood, leave them out for a few days, and see if that resets it.

Lock all the doors without the key.....then unlock the passanger side door. That should shut it off iirc

No luck still goes off. The alarm doesnt sound when i open the doors or anything but when i put the key on to the "ON" possistion the alarm goes off. And of course keeps it from starting the vehicle.

if its like what happened to me then something isnt touching the positive part of the battery 100%

awhile back i took my car to a shop to get a system installed and they didnt do the best job and a couple days after my car wouldnt start so i hit the positive side of the battery and it received power but the alarm wouldnt go off for like 5 min. very very annoying and im never going back to that shop.....

try unplugging the connector to the hoodpin. Then do the whole lock and unlock procedure. Supposedly if the system doesn't get the connection to the hoodpin it doesn't arm the system. So when you open the door and start the car it shouldn't go off. You may have some sort of short causing the alarm to go off. Maybe a ECU reset would help also.

Check the red tab that connects to the positive terminal, make sure thats plugged in

yea unplug the hood sensor, on the pass side shock tower.

it could have gotten damaged in the accident and is alway reading open. if its unplug it should read closed and be ok.

i had to do that with my carbon hood.
