Ok i'm sick of this the starter solenoid is sticking way too often now, ganna just replace it. i can get a discount at bennett and get the starter for like 60 bucks or so brand new. So you say there is two bolts accessable when the airbox is removed yes? What else goes into it? I know the power leads have to be removed, but whne i looked under the car and only see one

If it's not an OEM Nissan starter, avoid it at all costs.

Why?

The two bolts are accessible when you take off the airbox. Once you get those out, you can pull the plug to one of the leads and unbolt the other one (there are two bolts on the starter; only one needs to be taken off to detach the lead). That is all you need to undo. Installation is obviously the reverse of removal, but it's a bit difficult to get the starter oriented perfectly.

You get what you pay for. A cheap rebuilt starter will likely fail again.

"Rebuilt" and "new" are two completely different things. I have seen no evidence that a non-Nissan but NEW starter will fail any quicker than a Nissan one.
