hey whenever is good for me. ill make it work. winter break sounds good. actually i dont go back to school till february! ha! i know all you sfstate and dvc guys'll hate me for that.

lets take a long, hard drive - show 'em all what the G can do on some twisties. have some fun in the area these cars excel in. maybe after we have the meet we can go hit up some of the bay's favorites.

cool with me... im juss afraid that we might have an accident or issues... its not TOO hard to push the G too far :)

Yeah. I am down for the meet too. I should have a bunch of parts in by then. Let me know when you are wanting to do it. I am going to LA for a few weeks to get all my new suspension, wheels, headlights, and some of the interior. But keep me posted on when you might want to have it. The middle to end of January wouldnt be too bad depending on the weather.

how about in january? i'm pretty busy until then. it also gets us through the holidays and things will be calmer then. besides, i won't have my kyb agx and gc setup until then! :cheeky:

How about January 5th, around noon. We can arrange a place to meet, hopefully the east or south bay, and drive up Calavaras Road, it's in the area between fremont and san jose, there is access to it from 680 from the north, or 237 from the west. Calavaras RD is a one-laner that winds through the low mountains around the calavaras reservoir. No lights, no noise, no pollution, nobody else but 10 G's in a row . . .

that sounds good to me...what about the other guys, what you guys think?

Iam fine with the 5th, or anytime after the 5th. It'll take me a little while to get used to switching back to LHD though..

My car is stock right now and I got work on Sun so im not sure if I will show up... Next time will be well worth the wait though ;)

How about we meet at the Round Table Pizza (1271 E Calaveras Blvd) joint for lunch, in Milpitas. It is a good place to show off a fleet of racing G20's, meet up, and it is right next to the calavaras mountain road. It is also pretty much accessible from the SF area, as well as the East and south bay. I myself do not live here but in the East Bay, so i'm not choosing this just for convience. I also know other car club meet here. After lunch and every shows off their G20, we'll ride the big one going up Calavaras Rd. It is a one-lane screamer that curves up the low mountains. There are almost no guard rails, and the views are spectacular. It is an incredible road if you haven't seen it, the view over the Calavaras reservoir is breathtaking. It is usually totally deserted, and so quiet you can hear nothing but your own motor. It runs through a state park. The air is pure and without any pollution (until we get there).

If you are showing up, I dont need to tell you to have your ride ready to roll, proper inflation, etc, as Calavaras Rd is very demanding if you drive aggressively. It takes about 20 minutes to complete it if you are moderatly aggressive (not suicidal, average driver).

DIRECTION From North, take 680 South and exit 237 (Calavaras).
From San Fran, take 101 and exit (east) on 237.

Just so you know, 237 becomes Calavaras RD, and it goes right up into the State Park & calavaras resorvoir.

Yeah. I am down to meet there. I think Saturday sounds like a better day. Most likely I will bring my camera equipment and shoot some images possibly of the whole g20 crew together. As well I will try to get some images into some of the mags as I shoot for numerous sport compact mags. SO I guess count me in too. Like I said Saturday sounds better. If someone can email me and let me know a final day and time that would be great.

Its cool though because my car is bone stock right now. But next time I will have $3000 - $4000 of work done to my P11 so it should be well worth the wait. ;)
