New Lip

Just got done installing a new lip. Its just bolted up right now until I can find a better way to hold it on there. Enough with the chit chat, here's the pic.

There are a lot of screws, you could paint them black, it could grow on me. Good idea though, what is it off of?

i kinda like it. infact, i'd contrast the bolts, like they do on some of the SCCA pro race cars. just not something like chrome (or shiny), that'd be tacky...

yup just relocate the fogs and the car will look much nicer. I like the lip too good job.

The lip (and bolts) actually came off of a 1993 Chevy Astro Van. I've gotta do something with the bolts, they were just temporary. As for the fogs, I've thought about relocating them but I need a new grill and haven't had the money to buy one.

easy just put a mesh on the grill paint it black and put the infiniti emblem on it. For the lip you can use double sided tape and fewer screws.

A- you could have mounted the lip to the bottom of the factory bumper ledge so the bolts wont show

Alright, after all the suggestions, I redid the grill and rewired & remounted the foglights.
I guess since its summer no one wants pizza so moneys been short lately so I've got to wait a little for the mesh and new, more discreet bolts. Here's the progress

Edit: It would have been impossible to attach the lip to the bottom of the bumper just because of the way the lip was made.

100% better. the fogs were killing it. and i like the lip, with the visible bolts. a nice touch of badass.

Instead of bolts, you could have use the 3M double sided tape (the black/gray one).

looks better now that you relocated the fogs and chopped up the grille...
but id ditch that lip. it doesnt flow well at all. hit up a junk yard and find
yourself an integra lip that will A) fit the curvature of the bumper B) cover
up those bolt holes your gonna have when it comes off

but hey, to each their own. its def unique

If you want to put in the time and effort, you should use the Bondo bumper kit to fill/fix the rip on the left side and fill in the holes made by the screws.

Sand the Bondo and spray paint it black. Use 3M double-sided tape (the black one) to stick the lip on the bumper.

It will definitely look alot better.

The bumper lip does have potential...it just needs to be fixed up due to the rip and the holes made by the screws...

He should have used 3M double-sided adhesive tape instead of screws.

I think the lip looks great! I'd see if you could find some plastic for the sides and plastic weld another inch so it sits flush with the wheel well. Other than that I like it!
