: What's the best year P10?

Just wondering what people though the best year for the P10s was. Besides the obvious highport/loport difference and autoseatbelts, what were other small differences.

I feel like I saw some threads but can seem to find them! Thanks!

93.5, got the added benefits of the 94's but with the highport engine. No Auto belts either!

depends on what you want.

93.5 real seat belts, highport, color matched molding
96 newest of the p10s, but you have obdII, touring available
95 second newest, you have obdII but you get the sniffer test, touring available
94.5 first touring model

91-93 auto seatbelts, no airbags, different abs, actually a lot of stuff is diferent, kh2 paint though.

96 paint has colormatched bottom where others are black, makes a big difference especially for pearly p10s

91 is also the lightest which in a street car can be a small help. Though in a race car where the doors and some of the other safety stuff is gutted it does not make a difference.

'91-'93 FTW. The auto seatbelts suck, but they are OBD-I and didnt have airbags. Also, the lowport engine can lick my balls... theres a reason it was never used anywhere other than america...

Sorry, no 93.5 Touring available. I'm "converting" mine over tho...

I say 93.5 is still the best!

+1 (my 96' is pearl!)

And as Colin stated.. the 96's are OBDII.. so for me this is GREAT. In AZ, on a 96+ car they only plug in the OBDII port to check for ECU codes. If there are no codes, it passes smog. :)

So if you get a Calum or JWT ecu, you can easily pass smog with a turbo, VE, etc..

I'm currently using my stock ECU with my VE and I have no codes now (and I don't have an EGR on the car).

No sniffer (or visual) for my car!! (though I think I'd still pass smog with the sniffer).

auto seat belts are fine if you dont plan on changing out your seat. As soon as you want to put in a racing seat you have convert to manual seatbelts or install a cage and harness. There are saftey concerns with both of these.

Um how could i give you my auto seatbelts?

Can I buy your regular seatbelts?

You are the only one that likes auto seatbelts so please stay in touch. What do you like about them? They are as much work as regular seatbelts its just the cross thing goes up and down to the door, cant get it out of your way without opening the door.

Worst idea ever it gives me an upset tummy thinking about it.

95 second newest, you have obdII but you get the sniffer test

comes in very handy come inspection time. Even though it's OBD-II they don't plug you in. But come time to pull those codes, plug that sucker in and your done, no need to twist the screw on the ECU.

I love my '95.

Edit: oh and auto seatbelts FTL, my 93 cent has them and they are broken, like wtf am i supposed to do with those.

Oooo fun, I missed this one.

2002 P10's cause it came with a P11 shell, chassis, RR SR20, and sport options...

So what you really like about your 02 is that you can't get S4's for it, you have a solid beam so you have body roll, and it gets confused with an altima FTL

you p11 owners are all the same, trying to lower others to elevate yourselves. You only call the p10 tasteless because of your own insecurites about your p11 being bland. So sad. . . .

I don't remember who published the info but a couple years ago the '96 P10 MT was voted most reliable used car. Considering that what I have, and can attest to that I'll go with '96. '95 isn't so bad either.

If I'm not mistaken bro, those seatbelts have lifetime dealer warranty, take the car to the dealer and they SHOULD fix it free. But dont quote me on that.

PS: I love my 93 with the auto seatbelts. Although I really need to get into the habit of buckling up the bottom part of it:-\. ALSO....I heard you get an insurance price break if your car has auto seatbelts.....so I've heard.
