so i need a new clutch soon and i told me dad, i am actually ordering it right now, the car was still drivable but pretty much only by me since i knew the sweet spot on the clutch, and today i learned how to tint windows with my friend, and while i was doing that my dad and mother decided to go out to visit someone and my dad asks to take my car, i reminded him the clutch is messed up, and he says "so i can see how messed up it is" so im like alright, i gave him my keys and they took off, as he is backing out of the driveway he is revving the crap out of it and i can tell the clutch is just being pounded, so im half way tinting windows on my friends car at my house and they call. "the car doesnt want to go anymore, and it smells bad" so im like "wtf!" i finish tinting a window and i take off to pick them up, i get there and what do i see, my rims, that i spent countless hours fixing and filling and painting on, and they are rubbed against the curb, i get my flashlight and take a good look and a little less than half of the lip is completely torn to shi*t. so im like "Wtf!" i was so damn pissed, i still kinda am, all because my dad wanted to see "how messed up the clutch was" when he cant even drive my F*ing car..so about an hour later we get the car towed to my house for 40$ cuz we new a guy, and it takes up 20 mins to get it up our driveway..*sigh*......... WELL there is my story, but i just needed to vent and i though you would like to hear it..

well for 9 months i payed everything..from the down payment, my mom took care of the insurance but i helped her alot with my brothers and stuff so it kinda worked out..not until we went on vacation that i quit my job is when they started paying...but all there is to do now is to wait for the new clutch to get it in, and to start repairs on the rims since the car is sitting anyways.

i just freak out at my dad a bit before they take it, so he can be in a wide open parking lot and be worried that hes going to put a slight mark in them somehow

I let my mom drive my car when I was moving, she didn't want to drive the moving truck so I let her drive my car. She made it a block and a half before she pulled over, turned on the hazard lights, got out and from then on she drove the truck. She couldn't get used the combo of 4 puck clutch and lightened flywheel.

:( yea...now every time i go outside she is just sitting there looking at me all sad.. poor girl..well maybe now that she aint moving il get her up in the air and fix the short shifter and start taking things apart to do the clutch job.

my parents are older..im one of the youngest kids, my older brother is already 31, my parents are 52. :)

yeah, it sucks when other people mess up your car, but that's the risk you take when you let someone else drive.

i still remember the day (which was about 4 years ago) my stole my B14 while i was asleep what woke me up was the sound of my brand new greddy exhaust scraping on the road while he was coming out of the driveway...

yea...its upsetting and kinda takes away some of the joy of having the G but all i can do now is wait for the clutch to get in..

i remember when my clutch gave out. I also let me dad take it to work and he ended up having to get it toed back to the house for $90 bucks (which was out of my pocket) lol. That clutch was so toasty, it looked like bread that was left in the toaster for like 1 hour or something lol.

Your dad should at least pay for the new clutch and the tow, if not some new wheels :naughty:

nah my dad aint paying for anything..i was giving him a hard time about not being able to drive and about my rims and he was like "well fix it tomorrow! stop already!" hahaha and i want like i already fixed it..lol and i installed 2 strut bars and new header and downpipe on my honda friend for 60$ :) and il probly get 30. or so on his short shifter. :) and get more honda people to come to me and charge them more.hahahah money money money
