today is the first day i drove it in a month, i just lowered it, and got the bumper back on. Since the new suspension it pulls to the right.
I took it to a shop to have it aligned. they were having difficulty with it.
Now i feel kind of sad about my car. i wish i would have just left it stock.
its LOW in the front especially with that lip and no side skirts.
I dont want to put any more money into it.
I kind of regret modifying the bumper and grill. i'm too old to be driving around in a car like that.
anyone want to trade for stock parts?
do you guys think it looks bad?
doesnt look that bad... lol. i'll trade you for a b14
i dunno what u crying abouit i thinkit looks sick, i would got for a impul style grill though

a few side pics might help with a decision on the lip but I dont think its rice. Most cars when lowered they seem to have a little more trouble aligning them right.

looks good to me, i think it's a good start. I dont like when the fronts of cars are lower than the side, see if you can get some cheap side skirts to even it out.
all show and no go = rice :(
Get some side skirts and a header and i'll respect it

What you talking about Paul??? You car looks sick, personally I would take the lip off jus because its lower than the rest of the car, even though it looks badass...I wan t some bigger shotts of it when its lowered. It looks good! Maybe ricey just because of that lip adn no other body kit.
i would amber the corners, it would make the car much more jdm

I like it but may I suggest a couple of things....
first lose the eyelids or whatever is on there. They add nothing to the look IMHO.Also replace the mesh with some factory fogs, either p10 or get creative. I honestly always wanted to try and fit s14 projector fogs!

Maybe flat black spraypaint everything behind the grill so it isn't as noticable!
BTW I think its the 94-95 accord that has the lip, sides and rear.
Grill and lip look freakin awesome! Don't mess with them!

i actually did flat black everything behind the mesh, the gray looking stuff is dust on the splash guards.
i have some aftermarket fogs i need to put in.
i just dont like having a lip that is way lower than the rest of the car.

Definately understand the lip being lower then the rest of the car. It's not rice unless it's A) primered but not painted or B)visibly held on with zip ties and totally crooked and or falling off on one side :)
Just throw some skirts on the sides!

i think im going to get rid of the lip...
the wheels are going back to silver.
and i finally got the car to drive straight, (had to flip the tires) so now i dont feel like i ruined it by lowering it. its as close to specs as possible, although not prefectly aligned.

Lip is ok with or without, I would add some black mesh behind that grille, and its cool, amber corners are a bonus too but either way, it looks great.

I personally wish you would keep it stock, it feels so nice when new.

i need to repaint my grill, thats why there is no mesh in it yet.
if i had ridden in a g20 on s techs before, i probably would not have lowered mine, i would have just got some AGX's. i think the ride quality and handling were better on the factory set up.
im going to get rid of the lip, and as for the wheels they were painted black when i got them, i started stripping the paint off them tonight. they will be silver again soon.
i'm starting to re-think the vent holes in the bumper.

well, as for the wheels, i had to do prep work so idk if stripping them will get them back so...i would just re-paint them a different color. Also you can sell them back haha...no but did you put shocks in when you lowered it? that may be your problem

yea if you didnt put in new shocks when you put the springs that might be your problem.

Mar 03, 08, 09:09 PM
nah i know better than that. i wouldnt lower a car on old shocks.
the car has fresh wheels, tires, shocks, struts, and springs.
from what im told is there is no caster adjustment to compensate for "radial pull" from the tires, thats why the car is pulling right.

IMO, I'd paint the wheels back to silver, fill in that grill with a small holed mesh so you can't see through it too well, get some stock fog lights, or stock covers for P10's with no fog lights instead of that mesh, and it'll look fine.
I'd lose the lip though or get side skirts, but also some JDM amber corners would look sweet though, but I can understand not wanting to do much with the exterior of a car, go for more performance, and not be a memorable car on the road.
