purple GT i'm not sure, call your local nissan dealership and ask them for the part numbers to compare. Logic tells me they would be the same, but I am not certain.
The SR20DE roller rocker cover is the same as the VE.
valve cover is not equal to timing cover

The two valve covers are different.
DE valve cover...

VE valve cover...

On the outside the differences are pretty superficial.
Whether the two are interchangable is a different question...

Timing cover = #21
Valve cover = #4
You are asking about the timing cover, not the valve cover, correct?

VE/RR valve covers are the same and interchangeable.
VE/lowport/highport valve covers are different but also interchangeable.
However he is asked about the timing cover not the valve cover so that's a different topic alltogether. . . .

Shouldn't the timing covers be the same? I mean the major changes between all the engines are the VE head, pistons (compression ratio between the DE, VE, and DET) and oil squirters right (dunno if the VE comes with them)?
I would figure the other bits in the bottom end are probably the same? Really it would take someone looking up the part numbers to really put it to rest, but it is an interesting question.

Completly the wrong tack in that case... lol..
BTW the top pic is a RR engine...

That's what I was thinking I'm just not 100% on it. I bet if he looked up the part numbers they would be the same though.

"Front cover and oil pump from the JDM VVL motor. Will also fit SR20DE with the pulley, spacer and pick-up in the kit"
so im hoping it works..
