I'm planning to go again this year for the 3rd time with the chalkmobile... I convinced the lady to buy some Tein SS for her MX6 and do the event!!! Anybody else? Its cheap!

well, i think the instructors are all just hanging out and volunteering...

lemme know if you're interested, my girl would do well with an instructor... btw any suggestions or inspiring things i can say to her? she's feelin REALLY scared and down about the whole racing thing

Tell her it's NOT NOT NOT racing. It's HPDE. You learn your limits more than the limits of the car, especially the first few times out. And you learn to get comfortable with your limits. Don't let other cars on track pressure you into doing anything you're not comfortable with. Let 'em by at the next passing zone and get back into your own personal rhythm.

Seriously though, without the annual Mt Shasta meet going on again this year (I miss it TERRIBLY!!) I need a good summer get-together!

The ski lodge jacked the price out of the range of the cheap/poor Datsun enthusiasts, and the organizer had knee surgery to boot so it kinda fell apart. We need a new All Datsun/Nissan event!

We were thinking T-Hill for a few days, but that'd be like a party on the sun in the summer. Mt Shasta was nice because of the location and weather... :(

I just came across this. I'm suppose to be out of the country all of July, but if for whatever reason my plans fall through, I'm in!!! I have been on the track in a few years now, and ironically enough, my last time on the track was at Buttonwillow in my first B13.

I'm definitely going to need a refresher, Scott. :teeth:
