So how hard is the install for a Sr20Ve with a 6 speed tranny? what tranny comes with the VE motor?

cvt 6speed transmissions come with a VVL motor. you won't be able to use that transmission, even with its ecu, because our stock ecus wouldn't know how to communicate with it.

please do a search...your questions have been covered too many times with more or less the same thread title...

I just searched the forum and found nothing... Im going over what the possible prices are because its either this or cams for the DE im currently working on getting coilovers and after that its motor upgrade time.... so Im starting my research to get aquainted with what my best options are if I can get a VE and a 6 speed manual tranny it would be awesome so anybody let me know what you know plz

I think the 6 speed sr20ve 20v transmission is the one you would need, but I think they're around $1100. So $1300 for the sr20ve and another $1100 for the transmission, but i'm not sure what else is needed to make it work.

eff the CVT i wouldnt want a AT i need a manual tranny im going to do to upgrade thou mototor without a doubt tranny i can afford also so if anybody knows what 6 speed tranny would fit a VE let me know

yes there have been 6 speed installs in p10's prob p11's too but the p10 has been done at least 3 times... it is awesome!

Are you talking about the 6 speed CVT tranny that comes standard with the SR20VE ?

Or are you talking about a 6 speed Manual Tranny from the P12 ?

p11's are even eaiser to do then the p10's (which have to be converted to hydro), were as the p11 is already a hydro......


i think the best tranny to use wuold be the 04-06 max HLSD tranny.....mike (p10det) has it & said its the best out of all that are avail
