Recently just bought a 5 spd '99 G20 for $4300, been driving it for about a week now, and I'm in love :teeth:

Not really too sure on how to get started on the car. This is my first nice car, and I'd appreciate some starting points from you more experienced guys. Brake rotors had to be done, so I got some slotted rotors, and the rims were soo dented, so I got some TSW Volcanoes for a good price, and also decided to opt for some new tires as well.

about 150k miles on it, so it should last me for a little bit. Yeah, the previous owner was a friend, so it's been taken care of very nicely. just took a look at your g too, it looks great! do you have any plans on what you're doing to yours?

Sick car bro... Drop it!!! get some Tein SS coilovers and drop it!!! then get the boltons like the Exzhuast, CAI and Headers. my advice dont be in a rush to do exzhuast right away its fun but your better off makeing sure the car handles well and gets a better drop before you go for performance mods. You'll enjoy the mods better if you take care of the suspension first..... Wanna see what your car sounds like with full exzhuast? check the video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU_Im7sZXpA

Thanks for the comments guys. The car is black brammes, i love the color but it's such a bitch to keep clean. I think lowering it is probably my next step. Apparently the previous owner put in a brand new suspension about 1k miles before i bought it. Coilovers would be nice though. Baseline, that car is sick! the blacked out tail lights look good with the grey details.

Car looks good man...nice wheels too...

Do an intake first...theres a group buy going on that would work for you...just check the group buy section.

Exhaust next...VRS makes an exhaust for the car....2.25" or 2.5" with a good muffler and resonator so its not overly loud.

theres a lot more to do...but i'll let you discover the search tool =) gl with the new whip though.
