Howdy All,
I am new to this web-site and I'd love to get feedback/opinions from those of you here who have more experience than I.
I bought my '96 G20 last Sept. and it's been one of the greatest cars I've ever owned.Unfortunately last Friday I was hit hard by this huge Doge Ram pic-up thing and my car is now totaled:*(
It is a huge shame because I searched very hard to find one in the condition mine was.
It had 62,000 original miles. It is a '96 with a 5 speed manual tranny with no pop out problems, beautiful dark forest green paint. No leaks of any kind anywhere on the motor, which had incredible power to it over others I test drove.
It now has 73,300 miles on it and the motor was untouched in this accident, so it still runs great. The collision was on the driver's side at the rear door, and it destroyed the axel possibly, because the rear left tire is bent over and it barely rolls.
I wanted to get some feedback/opinions as to how I should go about selling it,because it has to be of use to someone?
I look forward to some responses (hopefully?=) ) and I'm really glad to have come upon this site, because I intend to purchase another one as soon as I'm able, and this is a great resource!

if its totaled as you say and im sure it is you will have to talk to the insurance company that is covering the claim about a buy back, and then you can sell it. once an insurance company gives you the settlement for a totaled car they own it and you have to buy it back if you want parts etc.

welcome to the forum and good luck finding another G

If and when you buy it back parting it out or finding one with a good body but bad engine would be a good idea.

Thanks for the welcomes and suggestions! Unfortunately I had let my insurance lapse, nothing really happened to the truck that hit me so he has yet to file anything.
I will try and post it for sale as is on the web-site here, hopeful to find someone who can use the motor

If you are not at fault, HIS or HER insurance should be paying you for the damages
