Hey guys, I just bought a 1996 P10 5 speed on Monday and already replaced the rear speakers (if you can call them that lol) using the how-to guide... I am a lazy mofo so I don't have pics up yet but they will be around eventually. The car is 100% stock, dark green tan interior. It's seen better days but I know the engine well as one of my first cars was a Sentra SE-R. Hopefully I'll replace/fix a couple panels and she'll be looking good as new. Just thought I'd say hey and thanks for the info.

You don't have a green right front fender do you? I'm pretty sure the dents in mine won't come out without a respray... and I'm also pretty sure I'll end up finding some interior pieces that need replacing too after driving the car for a bit. Thanks

It's been so long since I did a batch I'm just using a kit... all you do is boil a couple liters of water, mix in the starter (it looks like thick syrup) and then pour it into a 5 gallon container of cool water. Once the temp gets to about 62 degrees or so take the potential alcohol with a hygrometer and stir in the yeast. Then just let it sit, rack it into a secondary fermenter (I have 5 gallon glass carboys but a 5 gallon bucket will do just fine) to take it off they dying yeast because sediment makes it the beer bitter and taste funky. Once the PA gets to about .5 or so bottle and enjoy.

Damn. My right front fender has a couple of big 'ol dents in it. You can sorta see them in the first pic. Speaking of which... here's some pics:

These are just crappy ones I shot in a hurry this AM so that I could get something up. The paint isn't faded on the roof and trunk that's just morning dew... although the car needs to be professionally detailed REALLY badly. A good claybarring will go a long way, especially on the trunk.

Thanks, it's already been quite useful. I'm hoping to make an adapter plate or whatever you want to call it so I can install 6x9's in the rear and move the 6.5's I have back there now up front. If I get a decent one made I'll share the pattern :)

The wife doesn't want me to mod this car... so I'm going to have to keep the mods subtle

What do you guys think of these wheels? I'm pondering them as an option after I get a couple other things fixed.

Anime FTW!!! My library is maybe 3000 titles? Something like that anyway.

Oh, and it's easy, trust a fellow smot poker :D just follow the directions. The main thing is sterilization; make sure you clean the equipment before you use it and you shouldn't have any problems.

I dig the wheels... they are a 42 offset though so I'd need to get a thinner sidewall tire to get them to fit (I think) but that's cool with me. Now I just need to convince the wife that I need to use the stockers for winter tires... heh heh :naughty:

Oh, they are from tirerack.com

I'm not sure it it'll let you jump straight to the wheels like that or not. They're kinda heavy, 21 pounds for a 16" wheel, but I don't care about going fast :p
