The car looks pretty good from the outside. I like that color and wheel combo. Personally I would either polish/chrome/or powdercoat the valve cover red, it would look much better. Nice performance work, (I like the turbo=)) but do your engine compartment a favor and clean it, the pictures make the engine bay look filthy.

I bet the car is fast and it looks awsome with the JDM thang going on but I hate the hole in the hood (I know its for the top mount but its ugly IMO) and you need to clean your baby. ;)

The hole was for clearance issues.The car is kinda fast I am having some horrible hesitation issure before boost is hit,hopefully it will se solved soon.I also need to buy an afc asap!

Where is your air filter and radio?

Umm air filter an maf is hanging upside down under the batter with a zip tie since whoever said yo can use the stock intake pipe was a lier since its way to short! Who needs a radio?!

yea really who does need a radio with that kind of enigne. But I would put the gauges where the empty DIN space is and but the radio back. I agree I dont like the hole in the hood. Are you gonna get a front mount and fix the hood

Ya,a front mount will be on within 3 short weeks,just waiting on a paycheck.As for the hood,at this point I guess I am going with a c/f one now thats its avaible but I am still iffy about it.I plan to install a radio under the a/c.I had a cd player but I sold it to get cash for the set up,as well as I sold my sparco seat.

slap a scoop on the hood and leave it. I still think the VC would look better red, gunmetal or black but it's your opinion that counts not mine.

Car looks sweet, like the JDM theme. Clean your poor car though!

Noooooooo!!! That valve cover is beautiful :D ... I have to defend my art, Bryan :lol:. I decided to experiment with his valve cover and I love it, so he best keep it. Today, we're going to get some MPEG's of the car running, and it will scare the bejeeeezus out of you. Sounds like a Top Fuel funny car crossed with a tuned rotary... And yes, there was rain and he begged me not to take pics, but I was too impatient.

lol bryan, you know that hole in your hood complements the hood very well. Now the hole is the center of attention instead of all the paint peels you got back from Oregon! :lol:

Anyways, hope the oil problem gets fixed soon. Man you lift up the distributor caps, you find them covered with oil. Too bad you can't leave it open turbo, that thing sounds like a beast locked up in a cage waiting to be released, lol :)

PLEASE get some pics up of it running, i'm dying to see one in action. i just bought a 2nd ecu yesterday to be sent to jwt for reprogramming (gonna take a whole damn month!!! :angry: ) and i'm puting my down payment on an engine with jgy tomorrow, so i'll join the club soon enough =)

The oil leaks got worse,but I know where there a coming from at least.My oil pan an valve cover gaskets.By next week it should be able to tear it up on the street.

Where did you say you put the AFM? is it even hooked up and sucking in air? I though you need to hook it up with the turbo intake tract....every setup I've seen you need it to run right...unless you got the HKS VPC or some kind of stand-alone system...

I have no afc,could be part of the shitty runnign condition.

Well... I can't really see the turbo set-up... since you guys did such a 'great' job with the 'detailed' photography :tired: But knowing that you have a DET in there is sweet enuff...
Yeah... your bay may need some cleaning... but it happens to the best of us... Mine ain't any better right now with this crapy weather.
The hood scoop is not bad... but I think you should stick to the CF hood... Check out my avatar... It'd look sweet on a red P10.

The valve cover.... it's nice... but it's not really in it's place... if you had a flaming fluorescent civic I'd understand... but do your G a favor and change it... No offense. It's just taste...

Good job on the turbo. I do not like the hole in the hood though. Should be a scoop on there or a Front Mount should have been used. That valve cover's got to go. It's florescnet green/yellow and your car is red with gunmetal rims. Not trying to criticize, but just letting you know G owner to G owner. Overall a fair job. With all that money you make, I didn't expect to see a hole in the hood.

My thoughts exactly....

Nice install I like the JUN style cover. You should be able to hit a low 13 in the 1/4 when its tuned. Just so people know the bb intercooler will fit under a P10 hood, but the more air the better!

Wtf is it with this "matching" and "no radio?" BS? The car is a perfomance car, and the spooling of the turbo combined with the dumping of the blow off valve is better than any radio :D. As far as matching goes, who said things need to match? Contrast is best... Will you be complaining to JUN when you pick up your crate motor and the valve cover is painted HyperLemon? I sure hope not. Its distinctive and is immediately recognized by many as a JUN-style cover. Of course, if one is into the neon and the bling, matching may be for you...

I just order'd 300$ in ish from autozone,we will see how much it helps next week!

Don't be an ass, dude. That was said tongue-in-cheek. That car is built for power and carving corners... Creature-comfort and come last, plain and simple. And the valve cover is there as a joke, nothing more. But, it does look cool :cool: :lick: :p
