They ran a biography on the news and listed all the things he was famous for and didn't even mention racing. I tink he must have been a cool dude.

"What we got here is, failure to communicate....." Great movie. The racing world reaped benefits with his involvement that many didn't realize. He will be sadly missed. Not to mention the $100's of millions he made & donated from his 'Newman's Own' salad dressings that ALL 100% went to help kids with needs & terminally ill kids.

I have only watched Butch Cassidy & the Sundance kid.

I guess i will have to watch some others too.

You're kidding? That's the only Paul Newman movie you've seen?

The Hustler, The Verdict, Absence of Malice...

But yeah, I know, I don't always care when famous people die, but you know, the guys was a standout human being - especially the Newman Foundation. I actually was on a movie he was in once (never met him though). It's still my favorite film experience. But it's kind of like Audrey Hepburn not being just another pretty face.
