I think we should have one forum.. which I guess would now be this one. Only thing is.. Welp.. our archives are on AF. I wish this whole thing worked out to where nobody got pissed off so we could get the G20 forum database off of AF.
I just hope nobody gets too pissed off and deletes the G20 forum without thinking.

I'm right there with ya! Couldn't agree more!

Lot's a info that could possibly be lost in the shuffle.

Brian and I thought about that. We were under the impression that Igor would in no way allow that.

Anyway what the motto from the Million dollar man? "We can rebuild it, make it better!" :D:alien:

I think that a lot of it is crap. The good stuff gets recylced so much that it won't get lost. How many times have you seen the impul p10 picture pop-up or that dark red p10 with the NFS lights?

I think to make the new page/forum better we need to make up good pages in the FAQ. If it comes up in the forum and it is in the FAQ, delete the post as it just wastes time and space. Newbies should have to read the FAQ before they post.

We probably won't delete anything but politely point them to the faq. We can usually tell if someone has done their research. Most tend to just ignore those posts anyway if its been done to death.

Ahh, you can't please everyone. I was reading Igors post on AF and this is how I responded:

"Stealing Members?"

Come on guys...you're equating the people that post on this forum (AF) to objects you possess. The people that post on this forum are human beings, able to think, process information and make proper decisions. Because I joined AF does not mean I belong to them; because I knew about AF only from G20.net does not mean G20.net owns me. I will look at both places and I will return to the place the best suits my needs.

When given another option that is better than the current, people will change to that option. If you find competition, you should concentrate on what makes your product better to keep people from leaving.

If the intent of G20.net is to "steal" members from AF then they will fail. If the intent of G20.net is to create a nice forum where people can share thier interest in G20's then they will succeed. The bottom line is that people will go where their needs are met. G20.net can e-mail me all they want, but if their site is crappy then I wouldn't post on it.

It's not like people cannot go to both AF and G20net. I'm going to go check both to find out what information I need. Naturally, the one with better information will be the one I visit more. Who will it be? Time will tell.

Personally, I'm glad they there's now a specific G20 forum. I am a G20 owner and I'd like to speak with people who own and know about G20s. Plus I was very annoyed by the fact I couldn't search past 2 weeks of posts on AF.

Mike,

That is the most intelligent thing I've read since last night. We hope to keep you happy!

Thank you. :)

The nail has been hit on the head about the FAQ.
I stopped visiting the g20 thread less after getting pissed off with the same questions being asked over and over again like, clearing out lights - eye brows - What rims fit etc etc. READ SOME THREADS BEFORE POSTING HELPS !!!!

A good FAQ will go along way to helping the number of posts.
