I get 25. All my driving is city and I rev it a lot. My commute is like 15 minutes but like 10 lights lol. On a good long trip with lots of revs I can get about 30. But that doesn't happen often

My P10 is consistently 25-26 mpg in the city (LOT of stupid stoplights in my commute). I don't remember what I got in the DE since it was so short lived - but seemed pretty similar to all the others I've had (NX and SE-R).

the VE motor is a more efficient engine, not just in BHP alone, but also its output at the low end on the small lobes. Just like Jon said, I have heard of people getting 30mpg normal driving by keeping out of the big lobes. Thats the hard part cause once u get VVL you just want to keep in it all the time.
the only way a DE is better than a VE is Cam selection and spare parts.... lol
