I´d like to know if there in the US, any nissan/infiniti fitted this trunk carpet clips in grey.

Here in europe I´ve found them in 1994-99 maximas. Are way better than P10 ones, wich need a special tool to dismount. Maxima ones can be dismounted by hand in 2 secs.

00 p11 5speed...anyways, ses light came on so I scanned for codes and pulled up (2) codes, both read p0505. I did a search both on here and the internet and came up with IACV or TPS. Pulled my iacv and tb, cleaned them both, put the car back together and performed the idle relearn multiple times, didnt work. Car is idling at 600 90% of the time and then shoots up to 850-1100 the other 10% of the time randomly.

Here are the other symptoms, car bucks in 1st gear at low cruising speed, when the air conditioning is turned on the car falls on its face (engine wants to stall and idles extremely low, like 200) turn the ac off and the idle jumps back up. Idle seems to range from 600-1100 with no ac on. Should I replace iacv or tps...or?

Any ideas help, thanks.

My '95 g20 w/ 133K miles is getting old unfortunately. Too bad because it runs and handles better then my 2 other P10s ever did!
Last week I think it developed the dreaded 5th gear pop-out. It doesn't get kicked out of the 5th gear gate but disengages under load. Sometimes if I catch it quickly and let off the gas it will re-engage by itself.
When I swapped out the rear motor mt. about 2 years ago the 4 bolts holding the engine cross member in place (actually the nuts built into the subframe that hold the bolts) were so badly rusted that after I got them back in I don't ever want to remove them again for fear that they'd never go back. Therefore I fear removing the trans to fix it.
Any suggestions.....
is there adjustment to the shifter linkage that may help?
What about adding GM sycromesh fluid to the trans, I heard it works wonders?
Thanks

Towards the bottom of the page, look for "Catalog display problem? Click Here for the traditional HTML version." This will take you to the older style catalog search.

Search through the catalog till you find your specific car model.

Your address bar should read something like "http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1352720" The numbers at the end is your car's code #.

Use this link, but replace the Xs after "carcode=" with your car's code. http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclef...xxxx&m=wc&l=en
where 1355745 is the vehicle code. Lots of stuff for some pretty good prices! And, it will always be updating, so other deals may be available later
And heres a little G-dub love for the rest of you bastards not lucky enough to have the '99:

How To: Do Your Own Toe Alignment

Doing your own alignment is fairly easy, just is a bit time consuming and a bit repetitive.

First go out and buy some Toe in plates. They are under $40 on eBay usually.

Doing your own alignment is fairly easy, just is a bit time consuming and a bit repetitive.

First go out and buy some Toe in plates. They are under $40 on eBay usually.

Next buy two tape measures, they should have the same style markings for easier reading.

Set your steering wheel straight, then put the Toe In Plates against each tire, keep them as centered as possible.

Run the metal tape through the designated cuts in the plates, I like to use duct tape to hold them in place.

On the other side put the rest of the metal tape through the same slits.

With each hand put tension on both of the metal tapes from the side the whole measures is on. This will cause the tape ends to press against the Toe in plates and for the plate against the other wheel.

You will see the difference in measurement between the front and rear of the wheel. This is by how much your toe in/out is off. Most of the time the goal is to just set it as close to zero as possible.

Now it's time to adjust the tie rods. If your car is not lowered or you have tiny hands you might be able to reach through the wheel well, otherwise raising the car and getting under it is the only other way.

Loosen the nut that locks the inner tie rod to the outer tie rod. Then take a wrench and start rotating the inner tie rod. Keep in mind you want to be doing these changes to both sides, otherwise your steering wheel will be misaligned.

This is where it gets painful and time intensive: Lower the car to the ground and verify the toe again. You might need to drive the car for a few feet and verify the toe again, this mainly pertains to adjusting toe with wheels being on the ground. Adjusting toe while the wheels are raised should show instant results. The only problem is you can have some variations in toe between the wheels being off the ground and with full weight on the wheels.

If you have a lowered car your toe will be different from the car being raised and flat on the ground. You will need to see what the difference is and correct for it while the wheels are off the ground.

Well, the tank is not exactly the same. I´ve bought another P10 tank in the breaker, and the big pipe has a different angle in the GTIR one...so this may be an inconvenience, this evening I´ll take a look in the engine bay, maybe folding...we´ll see.

I´ll let you know.

With a g20. Ive been in the sr world for a long time, and Datsuns longer, but finally getting a g20. Heres a long story short, i got injured 2 years ago, we have a 08 se-r we got before i got hurt, 2 months after i got injured my son was born, could barley make our car payments, and have struggled with them the last year and a half on our 08 se-r. Finally owe 9k when her trade in is 11k, so finally positive equity so getting rid of it. The 08 is also ticking, having issues with power, (cvt is going out) and just been a hassle with interior trim popping out and shit. So i want it gone, and something i can work on myself like my 200sx. I saw this 02 p11 sport show up at a dealer in portland, they wanted 8k for it, and thought it was a base (for some reason up here dealers always want a shit load for p11's) but i talked them down, got them to want 5.5 for it, and then around 2 grand positive trade on my car, so going down from a 400 dollar payment to a 155 a month ( saves my ass specially with another lil one due in 3 weeks) so makes me happy to get a nice car, an lower payment, and another sr to add to the family. Heres a pic of it, and some pics of my other cars.

200sx has ve with n1 cams and some other fun/rare stuff, i hate the carbon fiber hood, but i put it on in the summer time because it reduces so much heat with the vents.

my 411.

My other 411 SSS model that i plan on dropping a sr20det into. Going to keep it looking stock inside and out. Going to be a few years, but will be the first sr powered 411.

And a few of my dads cars.

Im lookiing forward to looking up some things on here, and seeing what stuff coems up for sale. On the p11, plan on leaving her stock, just do a few lil upgrades to increase mpg, and i plan on doing stuff to the exterior, but shes fine as a driver with the auto for the wife.

Hey there, i want to buy some duals and i was thinking about fitting them with some 120smd led headlights. Have any of you tried them? I have heard diverse opinions on this, so I would like to know if somebody actually tried these on a p11 and how was it. Thanks :)
