Trying to figure out which way to go,

Nismotornic is $550
AEM with long Harness is $1000

wondering if any one had experience with the AEM stand alone.

I can justify the price because i want to go COP and that means id have to buy an S13 ecu and harness which will add up to about the same

Ok so my 01's tranny gave up the ghost.

believe the input shaft bearing shit the bed.

so before i can get time to dig into it & hopefully fix it. I want to take the 99 p11 trans from my 96 & swap it into the 01 p11.

I know that the Yoke is different from the 01 (dead straight) whereas the 99 is offset. Also the 01 stabilizer bar bolts to the trans, the 99 bolts to the rear bracket.

So what i am thinking is:

swap the yoke from the 99 to the 01, then swap the p10 stabilier bar into the 01 so it can bolt to the rear mount. swap my sensor ends/connectors. & boom should work?

no? please elaborate. I plan on measuring & testing tonight

Yes I have used the search function and found no obvious answers.

I recently helped my brother do a DET swap in his 92 p10 manual and the anti theft system has been giving us issues. First the ATS engaged itself and would not allow fuel to be pumped or send power to the spark plugs. We did the quick fix of trying to lock and unlock the doors. This solved the issue for a little until we took the car for a test drive and the system reengaged itself again. This time it refused to work after the doors were locked and unlocked. We eventually unhooked the dizzy plug, plugged it back in, and the fuel pump turned on again. We took it for another test drive and this time the system refused to let the car rev past 4000 rpms. We turned off the car and started again and the issues have stopped for now. However, the ATS is being a PITA and it would be nice to get rid of it. Any help is appreciated.
