So I thought it was the wheel bearing, I take it into a shop down the street from my house, and he tells me my bearing is fine, but my upper ball joint is fried. I tell him G20's dont have an upper ball joint, he argues and shows me this part:


This is not a ball joint. Lol. Whatever. Has anyone heard of these going out? I called my local infiniti dealer and to fix that Im looking at 600 in parts. Does anyone know if these parts are interchangeable from the P10? I could hit the junk yards...

I registered a bit ago but just never posted until now. I got my 94 G20 in April, I traded my 91 Acura Legend for it. I really like the car, when I got it it already had a BB swap, turbo timer, boost controller,rota subzero wheels, FMIC and guages.

So far what I have done to it is
Forge wastgate
3" full exhaust with magnaflow cat and muffler
Fixed the intercooler piping and re routed it so it didn't hang.
Sony head unit, kenwood door speakers and rear speakers, koiler 1000w amp and 2 infinity
1000w 10" subs
Replaced the front bumper and clean it up :)
Here are some pics I hope to re paint it soon and get a gt28 turbo

We're pretty laid back about most meets but this does have a few rules to it:
1. Please park your cars with the engine towards the curb. This clears up traffic.
2. If you bring alcohol please no bottles. If you prefer bottles you better take them back with you.

Already got Nokya H1 Stage 1 in arctic yellow & white, H4 harness to be spliced to "missing harness", JDM Duals, & tools to get the job done but missing 1 vital piece to complete the Installation!

I'm the BIGGEST noob on the block and don't even know how to attach pics in this forum! ...but I also got a KH3 2002 G20 Sport ready and willing to finally get pimped out! Been on this site nearly a week straight educating myself on the limitless ways G20's can be modded. I had no clue but have a brand-spanking new understanding of our ride's potential! :zoinks:

I sometimes have problems getting up slight hills in the low end RPMs, and have to use lower gears all the time.

I haven't had mine for long, about 4 days maybe, I've done a tune up, put in a new knock sensor, and repaired the high pressure power steering line. All is well, with no more codes or a CEL. I'm loving this car. But now, when I'm at a stop light, with it warmed up, every once in a while, it seems to mis-fire. Just drops maybe at most 100 RPM, and gets right back up to normal idle. I believe it does this also when at higher RPMs, I just don't notice it most of the time.

I've ran into a dead end with my own knowledge. Anyone had a problem like this? Maybe you could shed some light on this for me.
