I just got my first car and it was a great deal on a black 96 G20 at a local dealership. Picked it up for $3,000 and it's got about 130K miles on it. It runs really well. I've never really known much above car basics (changing oil & tires, etc.) but I would be really interested in tuning my car & making it faster. I'm getting a new job this summer cuz I'm running out of money for insurance & gas, i had to quit my last job because of school. But I'm gonna save up and buy some performace parts. Any ideas on some common things people do to make their g20's faster? thanks alot yall any help would be appreciated a whole lot!!

pop charger or ebay intake kit, ebay header (since i assume you dont want to spend like 6 bills to get a really good one.) maybe some primera badges..if your want a exhaust or different muffler you know..you'll fit right in....

Don't get E-bay anything.
Quality parts or nothing. Cheap parts break, reduce the reliability of your car and leave you stranded.
Save some money and wait for a nice intake to pop up, or pick up a used ASP header. Cams are a good inexpensive power adder. You can source a low port(91-92) intake cam for a few extra ponies.
keep it simple and clean. Change the oil and filter every 3 thousand miles, and do regular maintenance. She will not let you down.
