    Update*
Since the swap, the car has run great. Over the months iv worked out any small issues and Refined the fitment of parts. I've since been focusing on the apearence of the g, so heres what I've been up to. Eastbear grille, jdm power folding mirrors, I switched back to the factory tail lights, and am currently waiting for a set of egt tails. I've been wanting to put up pictures for a while now, so as soon as I get acces to a real computer I'll be puting those up.

its a bitch for sure. i use a pair of 90* long needle nose pliares on the snapring the first time, then about 3 months later i injested some tig slag or something and bent a fin, replaced the turbo and this time i invested in a pair of big ass 45* snap ring pliars. it made it a little easier.

been a while, so heres an update. a while back, forum member helped me realize I was going into boost loop by having my iacv hose go upstream of the turbo, so I fixed that and had it tig welded. much less lag. about 3 months ago I had to replace my walbro 255lph pump, so I did, but I threw a SARD fpr on it this time. Iv had a aem wideband on it for about a year, but didn't know where to mount it cleanly, but easily visible. so I made what I think was a mistake and did a triple pillar pod, moving my boost guage from the vent to the guage pod along with the wideband and an oil pressure guage. looks kinda rice, definitely a cop magnet. ill get pics up soon. the valve cover gasket started leaking about 6 months ago, and three gaskets later, still leaks. cant figure it out, but next time its getting some help from some rtv. other than that its been routine maintance and care. the paint is in rough shape and I have a cracked windshield which sucks, but it pulls of the sleeper theme pretty well. Its a daily, and takes a routine thrashing, but has held up beautifully. last October, I took it to import face off baton rouge and ran a 13.7@106mph quarter mile on street tires, a respectable time for a 20 year old daily 4 door.

definitely not happy with it. i don't know where else to put the wideband though.
also, figured out it wasn't the front of the the valve cover gasket leaking, it was the dip stick not sealing and oil being splashed and blown. ha it only took 3 gaskets to figure it out. anyway the motor is spotless once again. the car itself however, is rusty and crusty.

i think tomorrow im going to take some pictures of the ugly stuff. theres a lot of it.

heres some buety shots while its on the lift (freshening up the brakes)

    random exhaust shot

heres the ugly as far as rust. we still have paint and dents to cover.

    trunk lid

    pass. rear door jam

    pass. fender

    drivers rear inner fender

    floor.
i saved the best for last. keep in mind i bought this one for 500$ 3 years ago as a temporary "place holder" for the parts off my cherrie p10 after i wrecked it... but temporary turned into 3 years fast.

this used to be the d.s. rear floor board.
well, iv kept the condition of my car under wraps out of sheer embarrassment, but iv prepared myself for the worst soo.

What did u do about emissions and the EGR valve which don't come with this engine ? Just curious as i got the same swap in my p10 and it failed CT emissions due to the EGR....

i would assume visual, it's obd1. No check engines whatsoever, he said its either riding too hot or i have to clean the EGR valve which later i found out it doesn't even have...
