A weight gainer might be a huge help if you're having a hard time eating. Optimum nutrition makes a good one that ends up being 1200 calories a shake, keep in mind they are 2 HUGE scoops.

Not going to lie. I'm scared to just start taking on so many cals. I don't want to turn into a fat ass. I mean I workout and when have my daughter I do some stuff right at home. I even went on couple mile walk with my kid yesterday. But I have a fear of being fat again .

That's understandable. I lost a lot of weight when I initially started getting serious, but everything can be undone. take a weight gainer and if you find yourself getting to big, cut back the serving sizes. Based on your description, it seems that you have a fast metabolism so I wouldn't worry too much.

Weight is up, working out has been down a little bit. Still feel great but think I put on a few lbs of chunk . Summer time and so much shit going on. I am at 170ish which I wanted to be but it's definitely not all muscle weight I added.

I been buying peanut butter and almonds as snacks. PB and apples are my go to snack now.

well I had been slacking in the gym and eating like shit for like a week straight or more. The scale I weigh on said I was 180 but this was right after a crazy weekend and I was wearing my boots. So I took a few massive shits and wore sneakers and I was at 175. I been hitting the gym hard and eating right all week. I seemed to snap right back into the swing of things. I feel great and was lifting weights with ease.

I added dead lifts to the work out. Yesterday was first time so I wasn't trying to kill myself. I started with 65lbs and worked my way up to 175. I know I can deadlift alot more then that but was really just concentrating on form for the first time. Boy can I feel this workout today. My muscles all feel tight and tender. But it feels good. So hopefully I can keep doing what i'm doing.

Side note my girl and her friend are trying to get all in shape as well. That will help me as if she isn't eating crap I won't be tempted either.

Diet is the hardest part, and if it's not on point weight gain or weight loss will be difficult. On a possitive note, I finally found a good caloric range so my weight should be fairly steady as long as I keep track of food. I'm about ~15lbs away from my goal before I decide to cut again .

well I guess I look good regardless of packing on the few extra pounds as I met up with some friends who I hadn't seen in about 4 months and they all noticed that I was more muscular then the last time. Always nice to here that your hardwork is noticed.

I did P90X for about 3 weeks and started seeing results and then I got really sick for a week and it turned into a sinus infection. I took a month long trip for business and vacation and was still sick for the first two weeks until I finally went to a doctor. I started P90X the day I got back and was on it 3 days before catching a stomach virus that put me down for a few days. I have been doing P90X for 4 days now and will do it until I leave next week to go on another 10 day trip! I see some results after a week of the program but I haven't been able to stay on it or eat good. After I get back, and assuming I am done getting sick for a while, I can stay on the program non stop until it finishes and I will see what kind of results I get.

what's harder, committing to the routines everyday or the actual workout?

Diet will always be the hardest part. Most people won't hit a workout hard enough where they reach a breaking point. Most people have a hard time planning their diet out.

If you have a good heavy set of dumbells try this workout out:

Yup, the diet is the killer, especially when you can get 2 double cheeseburgers from McDonalds for less than $4. For me doing the workout is tough and sometimes finding a good time for the routine is harder but both are much easier than watching what you eat. That is a constant battle.
