P90X works if you actually do it daily and follow their recommendations. Most people don't last more than a few days.

It's a little bit of a life changer if you're used to eating junk all day. There is three phases of the diet. The hardest for people is the first phase (fat shredder) where you're at a caloric deficit (mostly high protein low carbs, you're not taking them out completely like on Adkins).

I will say this If you can commit yourself %100 to the program you'll get results. Worked awesome for me, I'm hooked on the program.

Its tough for beginners yes, and its supposed to be. You do what you can with what you can. Its more about the exercise than the diet, but I believe they include meal plan ideas with it.

It will be difficult for most people (unless you're an athlete), so you have to modify the workouts sometimes. But in all reality before you know it you're be pausing it less and less.

The workouts are important but in all reality if you want to maximize the results the diet is really key, that's really true for most workout programs. Whether you're looking to bulk up or become lean diet is key.

It will definitely give one a workout. To be honest the program did a great deal for me. So much so that I became a P90x coach. If you guys are serious let me know It would be awesome to get a g20 p90x group.

Feel free to check out my site If you guys want. I haven't put up my latest pics yet:

I'd love to but i'm a lazy old man.
I don't think I could do it, or be motivated for long to do it.

I would like to get some killer abs (who wouldn't). My diet is actually pretty decent for the past 6 months or so and my tummy is fairly flat. Much much better than it was prior to good dieting. I am pretty convinced that diet is 60-80 % of it...but the other 20-40% ---crunches? situps? what's the best PROVEN results....

Well I'm a firm believer that one is never to old to start. Some will have to modify the moves a little more than others (and age doesn't have to do with it) then work your way up to what they are doing. Keep in mind that Tony Horton (the dude in the video) is 52!

What exactly are you trying to achieve just abs? To get abs you're going to have to lose body fat (so they show). Diet is really key to get really great abs. I would do cardio at least 3 times a week and try to cut back on carbs, so that your body is using fat for energy. It's a little more complicated than that but I don't want to ramble on. Like I said I offer free coaching so if your interested head over to the site. Also feel free to use the site as a resource, I try to post up daily (I need to post today’s).

Abs are my main weakness right now. Chest is defined, arms are fine (though I just started really increasing the weights now for a little more bulk). If I had great abs, I would look extremely fit for someone in their mid 30's. My biggest fault is cardio. I hate it....hate, hate, hate, hate. I could probably walk 30 minutes, 3 times p/week....should not be difficult. Don't wanna jog or run, however.

I understand we have muscle below the "fat" in our tummy's...yup, i can feel mine and depending on how i stand/sit, can see my top two abs pretty well...so like anything I want to build them a little more. Are crunches the best ab workout for building ab muscle?

Well crunches are going to build some nice upper arms but I feel that you have to have a complete plan of attach. You have to hit the oblique’s (inner, outer), lower and upper abs.

LOL you made it seem like you were 60+. Dude 30 is nothing, at that age you should be fine. The cardio will kick your but if you're not used to it (believe me it KICKED my A@#). Like you I’m not a runner, I can say I kind of hate it so P90 made cardo fun with plyoX and KempoX. I did a quick breakout of the CD's here:
    http://motivatedresults.com/motivati...x-cd-breakout/

I will say that I would rather do PlyoX any day over running. Also If you're looking for a complete ab workout AB Ripper X is awesome!

Like I mentioned before man, there isn't such a thing. EVERYONE struggles in the beginning. There are people out there that have lost over 100lbs off p90x so no matter if you're looking to lose 10 or 100+ this will work for you. To be honest this program has done wonders for me.

Common guys who wants to start a G20, P90x group? I'm about to start Round4 very soon!

Hope it works good for me since im that person that gets distracted easily, same person that stops doing his workouts when Hawt Women tell him he's looking better, same person that gets abit lazy too!

I know there are a few ppls on gnet that gave up on p90x, can you sell me your p90x set for cheap!

Im too far west for a GNET P90X Group!

LOL like they say man just keep putting the cd's in and press play. That's where the coaching comes in, to keep you motivated and committed.

I wish I could but I still use it, In fact I just used it a couple hours ago. I don't mean everyone doing it in the same room but when people are held accountable in groups the success rates increase

Nice SE-R BTW my first car ever was a 1.6 sentra (I miss it).

Crossfit is the only way to go. Google it, watch the vids for workout of the day, and try to keep up as best as you can. Adjust the weight to your abilities, but stick to the reps and time. Do this and by the end of the year you'll be doing human flags (not that I can, but I'm older than everyone here!!).

Dam man this sucks I keep seen this thread being bumped everyday. It's like a reminder that I'm still "big boned" and that I'm getting old. I'm at 260 and I'm pretty close to my heaviest 278. And I Want to be at 210/200 if possible so let do it.

Let's not forget the benefits of being healthy

    1. Better sex
    2. Longevity
    3. Better sex

So let's get healthy then will post before and after pic just to poke fun at my self
