My first kit was hidnation.com
Cheaper on ebay and work just fine. Especially the ones from china![]()
China?? Lol thankss, yea i was looking @ HIDnation for a while, also, HidsRus and hidxenonheadlights.com but i jus wanna get a couple more before i narrow down and
Thanks :-)
Yah I got a set of bulbs on ebay for 10 bucks, works perfect. Where on hidnation it would be like $30... You can get a whole set on ebay for 50, or hidnation for 80. Your choice.
Well i was looking to get the whole set, including Bulbs, ballast and etc but the bulbs it self would change the light brightness and is the ballast necessary?
^You need to do more research.
It's a conversion kit! Bulbs are just, bulbs!
You need the balasts to generate the high intensity
Of the light! I got mine on eBay $60. Installed em
On my lunch break! I think they look great and crazy bright!
There's no " high beams" tho ;(
Yes there are, if your running oem headlights you need bulb size 9003 bi-xenon bulbs. Which have hid lo and hi. Regular Hid 9003's have hid lo and halogen hi.
If your on JDM duals you need h3 lo-beams and h1 hi-beams.
Yes you need ballasts, or the bulbs wont be getting enough juice and you wont have anything to plug your bulbs in since they have different connectors.
And yes, they take about 5 minutes to install, I did it at about 2am since I work nights in the dark.
I haven't had any issues with the two Bi-Xenon sets I got from them and everyone I know that has ordered from this site still work flawlessly. Some of them have had their HIDs in excess of 3 years.

ddmtuning is another pretty good site. for 35 watt hi/lo, its like 55 with a lifetime warrenty
I recommend the ebay ones (xentec) I been running those since Ive had my car and they havent failed me yet *knock on wood* also most my buddies out here have xentec as well and they all work fine its about 30 for the set on ebay
Thanks guys, i jus went wit HidNation: 8k and $65 total including warranty and everything. I heard their good so y not? *Knocks on wood *
Thanks everyone
Yeah I got the Xentec ones too! There cheap, bright,
And installed in like 10min! So I can get bi xeon bulbs to get my hi and low?
That would b sik!
Or you could get duals and run 2 ballasts with 2 diff bulb sizes...sicker
I have a question how is you guy's pattern. I'm running factroy g35 ballasts with factory bulbs and casper shield adapters. My light pattern sucks. Anybody have pics of there light pattern?
^The pattern depends on your reflector and how oxidized your lenses are not your ballasts.
The best pattern you can get is with a projector lens, which if your running oem headlights, is fairly easy to retrofit.
I know the ballast dont determine the pattern but im wondering if i should cut the shield part off of the bulb adapter. i have these
