    My ex

    I've been trying to find a clean p10 for a few months now but instead I got a Nissan X Trail instead.. Its a 5speed SUV based off the p12 platform, with a QR25DE engine. Awesome SUV with a crazy stock sound system, until a few days ago...

    Was driving at night on a secondary road where there's no lights and a deer ran across the road and hit me, was driving fast enough that the deer died but my airbags didn't deploy and I walked away just in shock. The Radiator and radiator support were totalled, and coolant sprayed everywhere in the engine bay.

    I'm going to try to fix it up, potentially try to swap the front with the newer european style, who knows
    So for the time being heres my thread on helping my ex become better :P

    Engine bay right after it was towed to my house

    The hood is supposed to be straight...

    Cleaned up the front, radiator was next!

    Radiators didn't pass the test vs the deer

    Coolant everywhere!

    How damaged the support was..

    Engine bay as it stands... More to come!
    I am not very mechanically inclined so if anyone has any pointers or can help just say anything!

    Sorry to hear but glad you're ok. Looks like your radiator prevented the deer from going into your engine. Straighten those frame, buy new radiator, headlight, front bumper, check all wire connections and she'll be back to life.

    Did you have comprehensive insurance? It won't count against collision for a deer hit
