    Bolt on BPI flow stack?

I've searched the forums quite a bit and decided I want a BPI flow stack/WAI.

I have a 2000 Touring. Could someone please tell me specifically which parts I need?

I'm a bit confused on the couplings and connecting pipe. I am currently bone stock.

I *think* I need the 3" flow stack kit, and then I'll order the S&B filter? Not sure which filter either.

    Please help!

you might just to pick up some new intake piping. you can find it off ebay for like $20, bolt it on, throw on the velocity stack, and then the filter.

you'll need a 3 inch coupler for the throttle body to piping connection, another 3 inch coupler for the piping to maf connection, a maf adaptor, one last another 3 inch coupler for maf adapter to velocity stack connection, and a big ass clamp around the filter. you'll probably want a few clamps for the couplers as well. this is assuming you get a 3 inch intake/maf adapter of course.

otherwise you'll just need a maf adapter and a 3 inch coupler to bolt on to your stock piping

as far as the filter goes, you'll want one with a 6 inch base, but i'm not sure how long you'll want it, but your standard length filter *should* work.

a pop charger will bolt right up to your stock maf and you can find them resonably priced used.

so a BPI + filter would work with a POP charger bracket?

Anyone have an pipe suggestion otherwise?

the pop charger would be instead of of the bpi flow stack. the the bpi flow stack needs a maf adaptor to bolt on to the maf, and then connect the adapter the the flow stack.

weapon r makes intakes for g20s, but i feel like its over priced for just a piece of pipe

you could attach the the bpi to the end of a cold air intake, and that would make the best gains, but its a little more work

Ok, so I got some cheap piping off e-bay...two silicon sleeves...I have a BPI and S$B filter on the way.

Is there any difference between the MAF adapter for 91-99 and 00-02? I see a lot of ebay MAF adapters for 10 bucks and free shipping.

I also thought about buying a 1/8" plastic sheet, cutting an adapter plate, and then forming the ring from a straight piece and hot gluing the whole thing together? (instead of waiting another 10 days for an adapter)

    Thoughts?

Oh, and there's a sensor at the end of the factory intake, right beside the battery. What do I do with that??

    Thanks!

Buy a bad maf ( maybe someone give it up for free) off someone and cut off one end and flip that bitch around. Bam 00+ maf adapter. Yes it's diff from earlier years. Zip tie the sensor out of the way. It just needs to read the air temp around the filter.
I don't own a G20, but if I did, it would be a p11. Stay sexy my friends.

Here is my install pics, Factory tubing and BPi Flow stack.

Cheap $12 ebay maf adapter. Thin plastic but it's in one piece still!

Letting the factory runner direct some air from behind the headlight to the filter. My IAT is still plugged into the plastic runner.

Boost pressure sensor unplugged, not really needed

    Covert, you ROCK.

Thanks man, you have shown me the light. Now just to find an adapter or buy a dead MAF.

Now what do I do with the 50 bucks of ebay stuff.... lol

    Thanks again,

I look at this and it says will fit 00 P11 AND 97 Altima?

Is he smoking something? If not, I can just find a junked Altima and steal and cut the MAF.

The only real thing that I did differently was that I used the stock MAF adapter. I used a sander and made it work. It was a pain in the butt, and now I this I should have gone the ebay route or something. But really all it takes is an intake pipe, a MAF adapter, the BPi flow stack, the S&B filter, and enough cuplers to make it all work (2-3 will be fine).

Just like Covert, I left my stock pipe in there to help direct some of the air flow towards the WAI. And my ambient air temp is just floating around somewhere in there.

The last thing I did in order to possibly squeeze every last decimal of HP out of my setup was heat wrap my intake pipe. I have absolutely no clue if it helped to keep the intake air any cooler, but I figured it couldn't hurt. Air heat soaks almost instantaneously, but IMHO, it is still worth the five bucks on the heat wrap.

I've done it all, and have learned that cheap and simple is the best way to go for a daily/wife's car

Where are you getting it for $5. It's $20 here for couple feet. NA it doesn't make that big of a difference. Turbo every degree lower counts.

This is exactly what I want to do using the Velocity Stack, Stock tubing and Velocity filter.

My only question before I start to order parts is I want to make sure I order everything correctly for the easiest install. With that said here is my list and can you guys make sure it's right?

    Parts List:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Nissan-Sentra-Intake-Filter-Adapter/dp/B003XARPCU"]91-99 Nissan Sentra/200sx Air Intake Filter MAF Adapter (3 inch outlet)[/ame]
    BPI 3" Flow Stack Kit
Universal Filter (Cleanable, 8-ply Cotton, Red Oil): Flange ID 6, Top OD 5.25, Element Height 5, Top Style: Chrome Rim w/ Power Stack (Item #: R0912)

Does all this seem about right? I think most of us would like to know exactly what parts we need to get to make this install as smooth as possible.

I think the one you want is actually this:

    [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Nissan-Pathfinder-Sentra-Murano-Adapter/dp/B003X1P2XI/ref=sr_1_10?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=131605 3961&sr=1-10[/ame]

^So this one works? It doesn't list the G20 in the description.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/91-99-G20-G2...ab62f3&vxp=mtr

^And this one only says 91-99. I typed in 00-02 and it wasn't compatiable.

Would there be any interest in a BPI type stack and MAF adapter in one? I have some metal work capability, and I think this could be very doable.
