Not a real complicated swap but I would get the motor in and running before you start tucking.

This man has some great advice! I always soak the bay down with purple power and pressure wash the hell out of it when the engine is out. Working on a nasty, greasy car sucks.

trust me, when you get the pics of the bay you'll be wondering where the car and motor are it'll be so clean.

    Just some random questions...

Can I run with the stock DE maf and fuel pump and injectors for the time being? I figured I should at least get the Nemu board first and have it programmed for a basic tune with out the listed items and when I can find the larger MAFs... I believe N60 load the new tune on the board, but i was also curious if i had to upgrade injectors for any reason other than turbo which i wont be for a while....

I'm sure i will have more ?s in the future so keep a look out

stock de maf and fuel pump is fine for a stock ve. when you say stock injectors do you mean de's or ve's? if you are rocking a stock ecu, i'd go with stock injectors for the time being and dont switch the cams

Just going to rock the stock de ecu till i get the motor installed and running. I'll send off the ECU after I get back from vacation.

    stock ve injectors.
no vvl for me till nemu board.

at most i will do are the springs and N1 cams in the future. and maybe i will turbo it but i doubt that

Car is running, had to switch two wires on the dizzy and it started right up. then only cyclinder 2&3 were firing as they were not getting fuel, figure out that the injector plugs needed to be swapped so 1&4 were not plugged in right. got that fixed and all is better.
