cool im not really to big on VW but they are m=not bad looking cars but what I think they need to do is bring out a more modern version of the corrado. I think it would sell really well also vw needs to sel a rwd car as well. most car makes have fwd awd and rwd. so it seems vw has an incompleat car lineup
but i guess selling loads of golfs and all modles haveing simular platform they are makeing alot of money due to low production cost
that looks fun. My uncle just got a CC 2.0T. Not too much into german cars, but VW styling is pretty hot right now
I LOVE the blue and blue in general on cars (I thought that was obvious with the Pelican Blue Audi we had, former 2004 Blue R32 VW, blue Miata I have and the Blue Miata I had along with the maui blue 2002 G20 I've always craved!)
I'd love to see the Corrado here as well as RWD but the AWD is my very acceptable compromise.![]()
chris I would as well i think they would enitually spend a little more money but I think it would boost their sale,s and attract more to the vw's
the big thing about VW is their is no real tuning available other than a crappy flash or go full stand alone. the people who designed the flash software should allow tuner shops to use it in real time tuning selling a licence to each ecu so that it is forever tunable.
like what we do with the newer nissans and te uprev software.
it seems that the vw guys spend lots of money only to do thier build following a right up so they an run a crummy flash. quite sad
^ there are many happy ECU retuned turbo VW owners so I'm not really sure what you are trying to get at. Reflashing the ECU is pretty simple and I had an ecu retune on my former 2003 GTI 1.8t that could be toggled between 'stock' setting (for service visits) and 93 Octane 'tune' and even a 91 octane tune. It required only a Forge Diverter valve replacement yet added a very nice HP boost.
I don't plan on retuning my ECU on this VW until it is out of warranty (just don't want the hassle of any issues with warranty) but we will be doing an ECU retune for 93 octane on the 1.8t Audi A4 Quattro we recently purchased.
chris what im getting at is the retune you speack of is a map that was set up elswear so you can flash it on the car.
what im saying it is best for every car to have the ability to have their car perfetionally tuned on a dyno in real time. no flash can be as acurate as doing the tuning on the car is what im saying.
it like jwt some might think it is exeptable but never will be as good as the car being tuned
I know you are not interested in tuning this car right now you just got it and more than likely wish to enjoy stock for a while
