    Hello from Bend Oregon

Hey there, I just bought my first Infinity, 1991 G20, I really love the car. Here's basically what I know:
10:1 comp JDM highport SR20DE, header, full 2.5" exhaust, B14 SE-R 5spd LSD trans, K-Sport adjustable coils, 16" Enkie 2 piece JDM wheels, drilled and slotted rotors all the way around, cusco fstb, Adcco rear sway bar, full G20t interior swap, Nissan Primera GT EDM cluster, Primera EDM Taillights, Visors, fender turn signals, and trunk spoiler, 4500k HIDs, alpine deck with Infinity Kappa all around with JL 12, tinted.

I absolutely love this car, twice as fun to drive as the 86 IROC I sold to buy it, and that car was far from stock too.

I do have a couple issues, drivers seat has a tear, one of the K-Sports needs rebuilt as the adjustments are all seized, the passenger axle is weak, not an LSD one, I got an LSD one already, but don't have the right carrier.

    Here's a pic

Thanks man, I'm 2 owners from the builder now, guy I bought it from was super cool and a buddy of the builder. Apparently the last two owner have now bought other cars and it just sat for a bit. The guy I got it from replaced it with a WRX, although I think this car would be more fun. This thing makes my wifes mustang look like a monster truck in the driveway.

This isn't my first Nissan, I have had some Z cars, and loved those, so when it came time for a family sedan, I was first thinking Honda, but for me, Nissan/Infinity is the best import out there.

I will enjoy it! I drove it home from Portland and fell in love... Might not be quite as fast as the car I'm coming from, but damn is it nice, smoother, and amazing to drive. It's got the K-Sports out of the back, once of them seized, so I'm getting it rebuilt by a buddy up in Portland, and I'll swap back to those in the back.

I might bug you with a question or two if I end up needing to replace any parts. Would you maybe PM me the specs on the engine? What should this SR20's redline be, etc?

By the way, amazing job on this car, you'd never know it had an interior swap, I absolutely love it.

Thank you sir. Ill pm you my number and you can text me. Ill answer any questions you have. I know its kind of hard to know what parts and such to use when you didnt build the car yourself. I miss that car but it just sat in my driveway. I built it to have the sh!t driven out of it, so do just that!

What happened to the coil overs? They were fine when I sold the car lol. That guy didnt really seem to know how to use them. I see the purple lugs I had on there are gone too =(. How about the purple gtir valve cover? That still there?

Valve cover is still there. He said the one coil in the back wouldn't adjust when he tried, so he put stock style suspension back there, I have a buddy that told me he could rebuild them no problem, he works on their coils quite a bit, so I'm going to run them back up to him in Portland soon as the passes aren't so lame.

I have the purple lug nuts in the trunk, they're going back on. I will drive the sh!t out of this car, I love to drive it. It's my DD, and I do 20k a year on average.

I've built a few hotrods, but this really is my first import that isn't a Z car, I'm finishing up a 73 Dart right now that's gonna have some wild 60's panel paint on it, etc.

Thanks a ton for being willing to help me out get my head around what it's got in it and done to it so I can keep up on maintaining it. Suggestions on fluids for this car? I usually run Torco oil in all my cars, so I was planning on swapping out to that in this one.

I cant remember exactly what I was running as far as fluids. I know the trans has redline in it, and as far as motor oil I believe it was a 10w30 by Castrol. I ran full synthetic in that motor for awhile and it didnt seem to like it at all. I switched back to conventional and that seemed to be best. It will idle low on cold start and sometimes stumble, but after it hits operating temp it runs excellent. Redline on that motor was 7800. Looks like he raised the front quite a bit as well. I had it completely slammed and went thru axles like crazy, so Id keep it at a reasonable height lol.

Believe it not, that car had tan leather when I bought it. everything was tan besides the dash haha.

Here she is when I first bought her, 100% stock.

Welcome! Congrats on your P10. I'm from Bend too originally. My parents still live there so I come through to visit every now and then. We'll have to have a black P10 mini-meet next time I'm over to central Oregon.

Sounds good!! I'd love to meet up with some more G20 owners. I'm a fan for life now!! I used to want a 240...not anymore.

Yeah, 240s are fine...you don't see these as often anymore though, and once you've swapped in a DET, I'd rather have a G20. Plus the FWD will be a lot more manageable on the way to Bachelor than a 240 would be.

Welcome. Nice car. I tried to buy those wheels man times.
If you plan on putting 20k on the P10 annually you will want to put it at monster truck height. Axles no like slammage.

Even the upgraded axles for the B14 LSD trans I have? I have a stock passenger side axle, but I have a replacement in the trunk of the car that's the stronger LSD axle, just need a carrier...

Yep even those will break. I went thru probably 5 axles in the course of a year being completely slammed. I didnt even drive the car except to meets and on nice days.

Well, I guess I'll be an axle replacer, I'm not raising it anymore than it is, I really like it at this height, in fact, the nose is a bit higher than the rear, so I will probably level by dropping the nose back down...
