    Changing springs and shocks

I have 99 G20T and planning on replacing the springs with Eibach Pro-Kit and shocks with Bilstein HD and would like to know what kind of problems I will be facing or will the ride be too rough for everyday driving.

What problems are you referring to? Problems that may arise while you are installing the Shocks and springs? Problems as far as the ride being too harsh should not be a problem. It should handle nice. On the front struts use a heat gun to heat up the bolts holding the shock on. Heat is your friend they will come off like butter.

you might want to pick up some DMSentra top mounts to restore some of the shock travel up front, but it should be a pretty solid set up

    springs

If your mechanically inclined you can do it no problem .Buy some penetrating fluid so stuff will come apart easier. I bought a cheap spring compressor.

You'll need it for the Eibachs cause they have alot of coils . The Tiens u dont need a compressor at all . get a buddy to help u'll see why.

go to autozone rent a spring compressor pull suspention and compress the spring. Take the top nut off and release the spring compressor. Fit all parts how they came off old shock onto new shocks. Its pretty easy. You might want to either get some rubber shower pan liner from home desperate or new oem gaskets for where the shock mounts to the body. The oem ones will crumble to a bunch of pieces.

Thanks for all the replies. Another question....Tire rack wants 158 dollars for each Bilstein shock, Does anyone know of another place that has them cheaper?
